Thalia's POV

Grayson was gone three days, has been back for two, and the pack is in chaos. How? I don't have a single clue.

I guess it's the fact that Ethan is so preoccupied with Even and Amelia, and Grayson was out of town for business, that lead people to bend rules. Now everyone seems primal with everything. They're scared, upset, and Grayson's been trying to slowly bring back order. Is it working? Personally, I don't think so, but he says it is.

So... kind of. But there's been more sightings of Darrell and his people, which worsens everything.

It's terrifying, of course, but I haven't seen him myself and I'm more than thankful.

Grayson has also decided to crack down on training most, if not all, kappa to know basic combat skills, not just the teens.

Since everything was so chaotic, they started adding me into pack meetings as a Luna. Valerie, Ethan's wife, was also added as a Luna. Lunas are the Alpha's mate, but they're only named Lunas if they aren't also Alphas, but there can only be two. Ethan and Grayson.

It was hard for Valerie and I, because we had such young children. Gracelynn is almost 11 weeks while Evan and Amelia are 17 and a half weeks old. They're so young and we have to leave them.

We still try to attend as many meetings as we can, and today is one of them.

"Hi baby, thank you for coming." Grayson smiles softly and kisses my forehead. I smile tiredly and nod.

"Of course. I'll always support you." I yawn. "Val and I left the kids with your mom by the way." I take my seat as Grayson stands behind me and Ethan stands behind Valerie.

Within the span of a minute, the meeting begins.

"We're facing a problem." Ethan announces, silencing the small chatter.

"What kind of problem, Alpha Ethan?" Timothy asks, leaning forward, intrigued.

"We have inside moles." Grayson announces, his grip on my shoulders getting slightly tighter. "And they somehow have been messing with the café."

I sit up straighter and turn to look at him. Why hasn't he told me?! Ive taken the kids there!

"What do you mean, 'messing with the café?'" I bite my lip, worried about his safety.

Grayson sighs. "Someone is stealing money and food, and they're working close to us. I'm cracking down on security everywhere to try and find out who it is."

"I agree with my brother. We also have another law we would like to be passed." Ethan chimes in. I don't have a good feeling about what is about to happen, but I know I can't stop it even if I tried. I share a worried glance with Valerie before everyone nods.

"The voting will be different today. You all will mind link your answers one by one as to ensure no one is copying someone else." Grayson says then he whispers to me. "You'll write yours down, babe."

I nod and sigh, feeling oddly embarrassed that I am forced to receive special treatment. Only because I'm human.

"What's the law?" Valerie asks, her voice carrying just how a Luna's voice should; strong, confident and powerful.

Ethan looks at Grayson and Gray nods before Ethan turns back to the council.

"The law would be that we start monitoring all wolves exiting and entering the pack territory." Ethan waits for a reaction.

"That's crazy." An older, loyal man speaks up. "There's no way you'll be able to do that."

"There is." Grayson sighs, trying to remain calm. "We're going to round up several wolves, interview, test and interrogate them to make sure they can loyally help."

Lisa gasps softly. "So you're going to basically start a more... Elite group of epsilons?"

They nod. "It's the only way, we need to weed out the moles before we can even attempt move past this."

I didn't have to be a wolf to feel the disapproving auras emanating from the older wolves.

This won't end well.
