Thalia's POV

Thursday's are usually a little rougher than the rest of the week. For some reason, students think they can goof off, more than usual, because they only have one more day of the week.

But this Thursday is particularly difficult. I'm going to tell Grayson I'm pregnant. I can't hide it any longer and I need to find a creative way to tell him, because just telling him would be weird and boring.

He's been pointing out symptoms randomly and I've been blowing them all off with stupid excuses. And when I say stupid excuses, i mean stupid excuses..

"Baby, why do you have ketchup on the cupcake?" I whip around and blush.

"I heard it was good and I'm testing it out."

"At three in the morning?" He chuckles.

"I was hungry!" I laugh nervously.

Then it was during sex.

I pull on Grayson's hair softly as his kisses slowly make their way to my breasts, gently etching his love into my skin with his teeth.

He pulls away and starts to unbuckle his belt and he pauses.

"Have your nipples always been this dark?" He raises a brow and I blush. "I thought they were lighter."

"Well, it's been cold lately and the cold makes them harder faster so the blood rush gets them darker." I spew out. He nods and continues to undo his belt.

And not to forget, he didn't stop pestering me about this one.

"Babe. Are you okay? Stressed?" He worriedly asks. I laugh in return.

"The better question to ask would be if I wasn't stressed, or even what level of stressed I am." I let my laughter die off. "Why?"

He fiddles with his fingers, "Well, you've been eating a lot and you haven't gotten your period in a while." He mumbles.

"So what if I'm gaining weight?" I defensively say. "Plus, I've got an irregular period and you know that."

"But I don't want you to develop some disorder from stress eating or something." He mumbles out. I sigh.

"Everything is fine, I promise." I rub my eyebrow. "And do research on eating disorders before you speak about them."

He's probably caught on by now. I've asked several coworkers and gotten only two good responses.

"Make a cake, you're great at baking!"

And

"Have Theo write him a letter."

I end up leaving during lunch to seek Jean's help. I drive over to the flower shop and bite my lip.

"Heya momma bear." Jean grins. I blush and smile.

"How's it going?" I gesture at the store.

"Wonderful, your man came in twice today." She grins. "First, his usual order for his mom, then a really really nice mixture of a couple different flowers." She grins and wiggles her brows. I blush and nod.

"Let's hope those are for me." I joke. She shakes her head.

"He's absolutely in l-"

"I'm telling him." I blurt out. Her eyes widen.

"Oh! How? Spill all the details, Li." she smiles and props her elbows on the counter with her chin in her hands.

"I don't know." I sheepishly admit. She holds up a finger.

"Listen to this. I'll get some blue flowers and some pink, split 'em down the middle and put a card saying 'or'. How's that sound?" She grins. I laugh.

"Better than baking a cake or making Theo write a letter."

Within 15 minutes, I'm writing a card, paying and on my way home.

Grayson's POV

I get home and set the flower's on the table. Pink flowers with yellow-orange tips. Hard to find, but worth the grab.

"Alright, Theo, mom's getting home in an hour, can you pick up your toys while I go to the potty?" I smile as he nods.

"Yeah, daddy, I do." He rushes to clean up cars and Lego's and dinosaurs as I rush to the restroom.

Halfway through peeing, I hear keys and the door open.

"Mumma!"

"Bubba!"

I frown. She isn't supposed to be home for another hour.

I quickly finish and hear her pass the restroom as I wash my hands. I burst out, nearly breaking the door in the process.

"Baby?" I look towards the room and see her smiling.

"Hey, babe. Thank you for the flowers, they're beautiful." She hugs me and kisses me softly and I can hear her thumping heart.

"They were supposed to be a surprise." I laugh, sheepishly rubbing the back of my neck. She smiles.

"There's one for you downstairs, go check it out." She smiles. "I'm going to use the restroom, and then I'll cook."

I nod and after a kiss, I head down to see the table. I find pink and blue flowers, which cause me to frown. My girlfriend got me flowers?

Upon closer inspection, the card between the two different colors of flowers says 'or' while the one on the table says 'Grayson' in Thalia's perfect handwriting.

I open and my heart stops.

To the love of my life,

Hi baby, I know it isn't traditional for a woman to get a man flowers, but when are we ever traditional? Haha. Well, I got a couple things to say.

1. I love you.
2. You're a great pops to Theo
And 3?
Fasten your seatbelt because we've got another one coming(:

I'm pregnant.
Love,
Your dearest, pregnant girlfriend,
Thalia.

I grin and fist pump. Mom was right.
