Thalia's POV

After about half an hour of doing my makeup, I study my face and make sure it's a flawless application. Once I've decided I look good, I slip on a pair of sleek black heels.

Grayson has an entire night planned out, and as soon as Jean gets here, to babysit Theo, we leave for an expensive restaurant.

In all honesty, I would've preferred a night with my boys, maybe rent a movie and order some takeout. I'd even accept the cliff, but Grayson has always enjoyed being flashy and going all out on Valentine's day.

A knock on the front door brings me from my thoughts, and before we can stop him, Theo's bolting down the stairs.

I hear a string of curse words leave Grayson's mouth as he runs after him.

"Is auntie Jean!" Theo yells. I hear a little grunt and I don't have to look to know that Grayson has swooped Theo into his arms.

"You know you're not supposed to open the door." Grayson sternly states as Jean laughs.

"Hey Theo, hey Gray" I hear Jean giggle. "As much as I enjoy seeing my favorite bug, you aren't supposed to answer the door by yourself, remember bug?" I hear Theo sigh.

"Yes, Auntie," He mumbles out. Within a second, his tone changes and he's excited again. "Can we play now?"

"Yeah! Let me just say hi to your mumma." Jean responds. I hear her press a kiss to Theo's forehead and Grayson begins to remind Theo of the door rules. Soon, I can hear pounding footsteps coming up the stairs.

"I'm in my restroom." I quickly yell out before Jean can get to the top of the stairs. Not a second later, I'm greeted by freckles, green eyes, and an enormous grin.

"Hello my darling Thalia!" she pulls me into a hug. "You look absolutely amazing, as always."

I blush, "Thank you. And thank you for babysitting my baby." I smile as Jean leans toward my ear.

"Did you tell him yet?" she whispers, barely loud enough for me to catch. I immediately shake my head.

"I just want to kind of... make sure that I don't lose this one." I whisper back. "I also want to be able to be a little closer to the gender reveal appointment." I bite my lip.

"Babe," she sighs, "You're showing already, you don't have much time for it to stay a secret, I bet he's already suspicious."

"I know, I'll tell him in less than a month." She gives me a look that makes me guiltily squirm.

"Fine. I'll tell him within two weeks."

"Atta girl."  she grins then shakes her head. "I knew Grayson was a little oblivious to things, and I know you love him, so I'm sorry, but he's an idiot."

"Who's an idiot?" Grayson laughs from the stairs as he walks in. Jean blushes a bright red as she grins.

"You, man child."

"Why?" he laughs again. Jean shrugs.

"You just kinda are." She smirks. He waves her off and looks at me, his eyes widening.

"Holy..." He bites his lip as he looks me up and down.

I blush as I take in his outfit. A navy blue dress shirt with black slacks. Simple, but damn can my man work it.

"You look like you're totally out of my league." Grayson chuckles out.

"You guys are hot. Now I'm going to babysit your son." Jean waves and shoots me a thumbs up.
