Thalia's POV
I finish rearranging the desks with the help of Mr. Dale, the campus police officer.
"Thank you, Mr. Dale." I smile. "Grayson had to take Theo to his physical."
"I'm very glad you two have made amends." Mr. Dale smiles. I nod and smile back, surprised that he hadn't realized that we made amends almost immediately.
"I am too." I softly state, feeling happy as ever.
After Mr. Dale leaves, I set up the food I promised to bring in for my first period and then I set up decorations.
"Need help Ms. Garrett?" I hear a vaguely familiar voice ask. I turn to see one of Grayson's cousins. I smile and greet him.
"Hello David," I see his sister, Angel, walk up behind him. "Hello Angel."
"Hey." She smiles. "Do you need help?"
I nod and hand them some decorations. "What brings you two my classroom?"
"Well, we saw you at Easter and your gender reveal, and we recognized you so we asked Grayson and he gave us the room number and we wanna make sure you're doing okay, with the baby and all." Angel smiles. I blush, knowing Grayson sent them to keep an eye out on me.
"You guys are so sweet, thank you."
After the decorations are set up, I offer them a donut each and they accept.
As soon as the bell rings, they head to their classes and my own classes start to come in, chattering excitedly at the food that has been displayed.
The students who signed up to bring food set their items on the makeshift table, which was just a bunch of desks lined up.
Once all the students are seated and the bell has rung, I smile and begin class.
"As you all know, the school had to cancel our usual Cinco de Mayo outdoor festivities due to weather. So this little party is just a little gift from me to you." I pause. "I've also got a couple of announcements."
They wait for me to continue and I smile, a little nervous this time.
"First, next year, I'll be teaching beginners art and sculpture." Some kids get excited and talk about signing up for those classes.
"What else, Ms?" A student calls out. I smile.
"But due to certain circumstances, I won't be back until after thanksgiving break." I clear my throat. "And because of that same circumstance, I'm not allowed to stress so your guys' final will be a short vocabulary test." I wink as they excitedly beam at each other.
They cheer happily, but one girl stops, curious.
"What's the circumstance, if I may ask?" She blushes. I smile and set a hand on my stomach. I take a deep breath and just as I'm about to announce my pregnancy, someone else says it.
"She's pregnant." Grayson's voice says. Theo giggles and rushes over to hug me.
"With my little sister!" He adds, causing everyone to say 'awe'.
The students get excited and their excitement only grows when they see Grayson has more food.
Grayson and Theo's surprise is pleasant. I find out that some of my students already know Grayson, and I don't know why, but I don't ask either.
By lunch, Grayson's back with Mexican food.
"In honor of this Mexican holiday, I've brought you the best Mexican food in town." Grayson grins. I laugh and kiss his cheek, then Theo's.
"Thank you my love." I smile as Theo climbs into the bean bag in the room.
"You know, I might just start coming everyday. Because you're pregnant and I don't want anything to happen to you or the baby." He smirks softly, knowing I'd also love that.
I blush and sit at my desk. "You don't have to."
"But I want to." He smiles. I blush harder.
"Only if it doesn't interfere with you working for your dad."
"He's my dad, He'll understand." he winks. I laugh and we begin to eat with Theo asking never ending questions about Cinco de Mayo.
These boys.
They're a handful, but I wouldn't trade 'em for the world.
