Chapter 32

I had nowhere to go.

I walked for hours till I reach a place where I could trust only one person, Giovanni.

I knocked on the door. Giovanni greeted me and welcomed me in his house. "Yer, pal not here?" He inspected my surroundings to find Justin.

"No. Giovanni, I need you to help me."

"I'll be glad. What is it, kiddo?"

"I need a place to stay as my house burned in a fire and Ti-Father also died in it. I have nowhere to go can I please reside here for a few days." Partially it was a lie, but I needed a place to stay.

"Oh, I am sorry for yer paps. Ye can stay here."

"Thank you, Giovanni." I said with a smile.

"Yer room is upstairs." I nodded and went upstairs. It was a decent country room. Walls plain white, with a single bed, shelf, nightstand and a lamp. I lied on the bed and stared at the ceiling, I can't hide here for long.

It was night time when I had dinner with Giovanni. He made roast chicken. I ate it without complaining and said, "Giovanni."

"Yea, kiddo."

"If my friend or anyone asks about me tell them I am not here."

"Why?" He raises a brow.

"Because I will not get freedom." He was confused. "They will take me and then will not let me go out." I lied, my friends are not like that. But I don't want to meet them.

"Very well, kiddo." I excused myself and went to sleep.

In the morning, light flooded inside the room from the window. I got up and went downstairs to have breakfast.

It was then a knock was heard, "Ye, stay here, kiddo. I'll see who it is." I sat there while Giovanni attended the person at the door.

I heard some talking and then the door was shut. Giovanni came in and said, "Yer pal was here. I told him that yer not here. He said that he needs ta meet ye."

"Was there anyone else?"

"Yea, another boy with brown eyes." Kyle.

"Thank you very much."

We both were watching television, when the news came:
A dead man's corpse was found in the house. There were cameras which have the evidence that the man, Tiago Yen, Age:48 was murdered by his daughter Willow as seen on this screen.

Then came a video of me stabbing Tiago. I looked at Giovanni, he was startled, his eyes were staring at me with utter fear. If you find this girl please call this number.

Giovanni didn't hesitated and went to call. "Stop!" I shouted. He didn't stop. I grabbed the sickle and walked to him, "Giovanni, if you didn't stop I will kill you right now." He didn't pay any heed, in one swing the sickle penetrated in his arm through all the flesh. He screamed and fell on the floor trying to get it out, blood was around his arm and the weapon like a sheet.

I reached for the stake which was sharpened and thrusted in his stomach. "I am sorry," You are deadly.

I wasted no time, got my backpack and ran away to the city as the words were repeated continuously.

You are deadly.
