"I want to show you something." Aurora responded.
She started running and led the way to whatever she wanted to show me.
I guess it was my fault for asking her what she wanted to do.
We ran for about two minutes, when she stopped and turned to me. "Now close your eyes." She said.
I did so reluctantly, hoping she wasn't going to do anything dangerous.
I waited about ten seconds when she said, "Ok, you can open them!" I opened my eyes, half expecting to find my brother here to mock me.
But I did not.
What I saw, was a beautiful grove. It had a fountain in the center, which spewed out water from the top. Inside the fountain were little pink flowers, floating around. The fountain itself wasn't very large, the tip going slightly higher than my ears.
There were vines as well, hanging down from the sides of the walls. It was grassy, and the grass was soft, so I figured pokemon came to clean and repair this place often.
It was a small, cozy place, and the walls and fountain were white marble.
Aurora was looking at me expectantly; probably waiting for a response.
So I did, "It-it's beautiful."
Aurora looked happy. I was happy to see her happy, for some reason. "I knew you would like it!" She exclaimed. "It's very grass type themed, so I supposed you would enjoy it."
And I did. There was something about this place that calmed me. I was stressed sometimes, so a calming point in the day, was nice to have. Usually I would calm myself by doing puzzles, or mental work. (Lame, I know.) But I was calmed as soon as I entered.
"This is what you wanted to show me?" I asked, already knowing the answer.
"Yes." She answered. "I come here all the time ever since I found it."
She looked around it nostalgically. I wondered what her history was. I figured she would tell me eventually.
She focused her gaze on me. "I want to ask you something."
I swallowed nervously. What on earth was it now? What could she possibly want to ask me? I thought about why she would've brought me to a place like this. She wanted t ask something important. I had a horrifying image of her proposing. That would be absurd of course. But still...
She blushed slightly. "I wanted to ask, if you would be my...boyfriend."
Holy moly! She wanted to go that far? I had no idea! I mean, I figured something like that, but not her flat out asking it!
I turned red. "Uh..."
Her eyes were looking at me hopefully. It was like they were staring into my soul! Ready to make me feel guilty if I said no! She was giving me no choice...
"O-ok." I stuttered. There. I did it. Now it was going to be official.
She grinned happily. "Oh thank you! I am so glad you said yes!" She rushed over and hugged me, making me turn red again. "I am so happy."
She drew back. "I have to go now, but I will see you soon!" With that, she ran out of the grove.
I was left standing there, wondering what I had just gotten myself into.
