Constan comes through.

Alright. For the longest time, Constan would avoid Cindi.

He would not be caught DEAD around her, and never ever spoke to her for the next four times she was there.

I was disappointed in him, as Cindi was giving him time. She would come every third day on which Constan was working. Plenty of warm up time for Constan.

I guessed that he just really loathed being with her.

But, he surprised me.

That's what this is about.

We naturally both came in at the same time.

I walked in front while Constan was right behind me until we got to the counter.

Thea greeted us. "Hello. How are you today?"

I smiled, and Constan shrugged. "Good." We both said in unison.

Thea smiled back. "Good to hear."

She continued on with her business, and me and my bro both walked to the back to get ready.

-Later-

Constan and I were doing the usual.

He worked up front, and I covered back.

But things turned for the... differently, (I don't know how to put it!) when Cindi walked inside.

Now, she told me that she would come every third day that Constan worked. So it was strange for her to come in now.

I looked up front through the window, and saw her walk up to Constan with a slightly guilty expression.

I couldn't hear what was said though.

Constan's P.O.V.

Cindi walked up to the counter with a different expression than normal.

Guilt.

She wouldn't meet my eyes. "Hi, Constan."

I looked at her with a sympathetic expression. "What's wrong?"

She tapped her fingers together. "Um... well you see... your brother and I had a little scheme going..."

I shrugged and then nodded. "I already knew that."

She looked at me. "But, it was to try and get you to talk to me, to get over your fear of talking to attractive women."

I nodded. "I knew that too."

She appeared shocked. "You did?"

I peered back for a second, and then looked at her again. "Look. I'm sorry for avoiding you. I wanted to appear tough, and firm. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings if I did."

She shook her head. "No, of course not. I know that you're just shy."

I rubbed my temple. "Yeah. It kinda runs in the family."

Cindi smiled. "Oh? Is your brother shy too?"

I snickered. "Oh yeah. An attractive sylveon walked in, and he was just messing up with his words all over the place."

Cindi giggled. "How attractive?"

I smirked. "Really much so, but not as much as you."

Cindi's eyes widened slightly, as she blushed.

I sighed. "Ok. So... if you really... ya know... want to try and actually for real get together, then... I'm not necessarily against it..."

"You mean... like a couple?" Cindi asked.

I nodded slightly. "Y-yeah. Only if you want to of course."

Cindi thought about it for a second. "Deal. You're totally adorable."

She tried to hug me over the counter while I tried to give her a handshake. We both stopped, and tried to do it again, but got in each other's way.

I chuckled awkwardly. "How about a fist bump?"

She nodded. We then bumped fists.

She smiled. "Alright then. But I warn you: next time, the counter won't block me." And with that she walked out.

I smiled. "Alright..."

And then Tendo walked forward, and nudged my arm.

"How did it go?" He asked.

I huffed, and pushed past him. "No way am I telling you!"

He appeared kind of shocked and slightly annoyed at the same time. Just what I was going for.

I pondered it quietly. "I wonder what this will be like. All, kinda friends thing, or maybe lovey dovey like Tendo and Aurora..."

I pondered it for the rest of my shift.
