Constan and I arrived at Aurora's house, and were greeted by her father, the umbreon.

"Hello boys. The two girls are in here, waiting for you." He informed us.

I smiled, and nodded. "Thank you, mister... umbreon sir."

He laughed. "Just call me dad."

I blushed, and probably appeared shocked.

He laughed again. "It was a joke! Relax. Anyways, come in."

We walked inside, and Constan nudged me. "Eh, eh? Dad, huh?"

I shot a glare at him. "You heard him! It was a joke! Drop it."

He smiled, and waved at the girls who were sitting at the table in the dining room. It was low to the floor, and there were mats instead of wooden chairs, so it was more comfortable.

We walked over there, and Aurora and Cindi smiled at us.

I sat next to Aurora, who wrapped a ribbon around my back loosely, and Constan sat next to Cindi, who smiled at him brightly.

Aurora's father, (a.k.a. mister umbreon sir,) came over, and gestured toward the plate of steaming hot... something.

"That's my special made pasta." He told us. "I hope you enjoy!"

(Honestly, it looked like a steaming pile of green mesh. I had no idea what it would taste like, but if it smelled the way it tasted, then it wouldn't be so delightful.)

"Take care of these two beautiful women here." He told me and Constan. "They deserve the best from you." With that, he walked upstairs.

Aurora gave us all a sympathetic look. "Just... humor him. He took two hours to make this, and he would be so happy if you just had a small amount. Even if it does look pretty... strange."

Aurora then used her ribbons, and carefully put a few spoonfuls on each of our plates. I had to lean away from it, Cindi covered her nose, but Constan made no attempt to avoid its odor. He looked at it like it was some sort of alien lifeform the he didn't know what to do with.

I smirked nervously to myself. "Can't be that bad..." I lifted a spoon up to my mouth, and tasted a small amount.

I regretted that decision.

I dropped the spoon, and tried my best to not throw up, as I thought that would be both unattractive, and bad table manners.

I swallowed with much trouble, and smiled weakly. "I-it was... I-interesting to say the least."

Cindi saw my reaction, and pushed her plate away. "I lost my appetite."

Aurora ate a small amount, and had less trouble than me at swallowing, but still had trouble.

We all looked at Constan, who appeared horrified at our reactions.

I pointed to it. "You got to try it. It's... a very... flavorful dish..."

He gulped nervously, and lifted the spoon to his mouth. He closed his mouth around it... and then his eyes opened wide.

He took the spoon out, but held it tightly.

I waited for him to either spit it out, or swallow with maybe some tears of regret.

But, instead, he swallowed whole-heartedly, and lowered his spoon to get more.

I gasped. "You.... LIKE it?!"

He smiled, and ate more. "Yeah! I actually... I really do! I don't know how this happened, but it's good to me!"

Me, Aurora, and Cindi all looked at each other, and then back at him. We pushed our plates toward him.

He looked happy to finish them.

-After the... 'delightful' meal-

Constan rubbed his belly, and sighed. "I'm stuffed."

Cindi breathed a sigh of relief. "I am glad he liked it. We would actually have had to finish it, if he didn't like it."

We all shuddered at that thought.

Aurora stood up, and walked to the fridge. "Now, we got some mint ice cream here, made from special moo-moo milk. You know, to get rid of our pasta breath."

Constan clamped his mouth shut when he heard that.

Cindi looked at Constan. "You know, I've been wondering this but... you're name can't just be Constan right? it's got to be short for something."

He thought about it. "Actually, it is."

Cindi's eyes widened slightly. "What is it? Can you tell me?"

He looked at her. "Well, it's Constantine, but I don't know why we always refer to me as Constan. It's weird."

We all nodded in agreement.

Aurora came over, and sat next to me as she gave us all servings of ice cream. "So... is Tendo short for Tendopolis?"

I snickered. "Very funny. But no, only Constan got the shortened name."

Constan pumped his fist. "Yes! I'm special!"

Cindi rubbed his back. "Yes. You are special in two ways now. You have a shortened name, AND you are the only known pokemon on earth who can finish Aurora's father's pasta."

We all laughed.

Aurora then thought about it. "Actually, he himself can't even eat it."

We laughed again.

I ate a bite of mint ice cream. "Wow! This is really good!"

Cindi ate some too. "Oh my gosh. You're right. This is probably the best ice cream I've ever had."

Aurora smiled. "Well, sometimes being a little rich can have some props."

I smirked. "A little?"

She glared at me playfully.

Constan(tine) looked at his bowl. "Uh... I can try to eat some..."

Cindi looked at him. "Are you really that full? Why did you eat so much pasta?"

He kept his gaze fixed on the bowl of ice cream. "Because it was so good..."

We all stared at him blankly.

He looked at all of us. "What? A matter of preference. I can think something's good when everyone else on the planet doesn't."

Cindi touched his arm lightly. "I guess that's true."

I looked at the couch. "Maybe, we could watch a movie tonight?"

Constan gasped, and then nodded. "Yeah! The Three Legendary Dogs movie!"

I rubbed the back of my neck. "Yeah... about that..."

Aurora and Cindi appeared confused. "We... don't have that movie." Aurora said.

Constan blinked. "What?"

Aurora nodded. "I don't think we've ever had that movie."

Constan turned to me. "What did you say? Hmm. It appears I was given false information..."

I instantly became afraid.
