Leafeon's Love Adventure.

It starts getting serious.

Follow the title? Oh yeah. This chapter is where it starts really getting serious. Sigh. I was actually starting to get used to it at this point. It all starts at my job...

Aurora hadn't seen me since two days ago. I was too busy and apparently, so was she.

I didn't really mind all that much, but she started growing on me.

I was really not very pleased with it.

I had arrived at my job and got to work. It was not-so-busy as usual, and only Thea, Tobius, and Shen were there. I guess they didn't expect very many pokemon to show up.

"Hello there boy-o!" Shen shouted to me. "How's your love-life?"

I ignored him and went straight to the back. I had to clock in before I did anything else.

I clocked in without anymore comments out of Shen, and went to work.

My shift ended.

They day went by slowly, only because there was so little work to be done. Ii mostly just stood and waited in the back for some mess, or delivery job.

I clocked out, and was about to walk out the door, when I got called over by someone.

"Over here!" The pokemon said. I turned to see who it was, and my lack of surprise, indicated who it was.

Of course, Aurora had came and waited.

I had no idea how long she waited, but she didn't call for me, or let me know she was there, which I considered an improvement.

She motioned for me to come sit by her. I gulped, and walked over to the table she was at.

I sat next to her reluctantly, and she moved closer to me.

"So Tendo," Aurora began. "I was wondering...when our first date would take place."

I expected she would ask me eventually, but it took me by surprise, how quickly she asked it. Ii guess I should've expected it...Aurora was very...um...up front.

Aurora continued, "I mean, we have already become boyfriend and girlfriend, and I was thinking...that we should have our first date soon. If that's ok with you."

I was glad she decided to get my opinion first. Sometimes, actually most of the time, girls and guys don't do that. They just decide that they want a first date without telling the other pokemon. But I preferred it this way.

"Um...I, uh." I didn't know what to answer. My personality, as we already have established, is quiet, and isolated. I am not good when I am the center of attention. Apparently, that was also the case with pretty girls. I am not calling her pretty, I am just stating a fact. I am not making this better for myself...

Anyway, I eventually got the courage to answer, "Ok." I almost whispered. I was a little shocked she could hear my little squeak of an answer, but somehow she did.

Her eyes lit up. "Oh thank you Tendo! I know I say it a lot, but you are just so nice!"

Eh. I didn't consider myself very thoughtful. Not even my brother, Constan considered me thoughtful.

"Ok." Aurora started planning. "Maybe we could arrange a time and place to meet? How about tomorrow? Oh wait, you have school, and so do I. Hmm. Maybe tomorrow evening? No, you work. Sorry, Shen told me your schedule; I swear I didn't ask."

Typical Shen.

"How about Tuesday at 6:00? I am free, what about you?" She asked.

I looked at her. She was actually putting a lot of thought into this. I still could hardly believe she was interested in such a pokemon as me.

"Sure." I answered. I was free, and there was nothing else to it.

"Ok! We will meet where? How about my favorite place: the grove! It would be so romantic."

That word totally made my spine tingle. Romantic? No way. We were teens. No romance in teens. No way!

But I agreed anyway. "Ok. Fine by me."

Aurora smiled. She was so pretty when she smiled... Agh! Focus!

"It's settled then." She said. "We meet Tuesday, at the grove. See you there!" With that she got down from the table. I followed.

I held the door open for her and she walked past me, but stopped right next to me. She turned to face me. "I love you." She said. And she kissed my cheek. She then left. 

I was so shocked, I was literally standing there for at least two minutes straight. She just kissed me?! At least not on 'the area' but she still did it! I became so love-stricken, that  I sort of wobbled the way home.

I stumbled home thinking over and over again: she said I love you; she kissed me. She said I love you; she kissed me. She said I love you; she kissed me.

She had managed to take down my defenses.
