"Oh my gosh!" I shouted.

Constan looked at me like I had just lost my favorite pair of school folder. (I'm not lame!)

"What is it Tendo?" He asked, clearly surprised by my outburst.

I put my paw to my forehead. "I almost forgot! I am so stupid!" I turned and looked at Constan. "Aurora's birthday! I need to get her something!"

Constan looked surprised for a second, but then glared at me. "THAT'S why you shouted? Geez..."

I quickly ran over to Constan and slapped him in the face.

"Ow!" He exclaimed. "What was that for?"

"Don't you see?" I told him. "If I don't get her the most ground-breaking, earth-shattering, fantastic present ever, then she'll totally be upset! Her family is rich! She'll get so many super expensive nice presents! I can't just get her something ordinary!"

Constan rubbed his cheek, where I slapped him. "Well, if she's getting a ton of really expensive gifts, then she'll get nothing ordinary, and maybe getting her something regular isn't all that bad."

I pondered it for a second, but then shoved the dumb idea aside.

"That is TERRIBLE logic!" I yelled at Constan. "You are no help!"

He chuckled. "Over-reacting much?"

I shook my head violently. "Not at all!" I then realized I had been shouting the entire time, and other pokemon were beginning to look at me. I lowered my voice.

"I must get her something great." I put my paw to my chin. "The question is: what is great enough for Aurora?"

Constan snickered. "She must be really great for you to care about her opinion this much. How good did that kiss feel again?"

I blushed and shook my head. "S-stop changing the subject! This is important!"

He smiled and began walking off. "Let me know when you find the greatest, most earth-shattering, ground-breaking gift ever!"

I watched him walk off for a second, and then ran after him; knowing he was going to where mom and Yeper were.

I kept going through my vast knowledge of items, and eliminating all of them.

They were either, too stupid, too me-ish, too boy-ish, or too not Aurora.

I was going to fail at this rate.

But her birthday was still a week and a half away. I had time.

But time was running out.
