The four of us cruised around in my Nissan Murano. The night was absolutely dead. There were no public parties going on and everyone seemed to be hanging with just one other person.

"I'm bored as shit." Riley muttered.

"Same, girl. I wish someone would let us come over." I sighed.

"Let's go over to Randy's house." Spencer suggested. I caught her smirk at Havoc. This was only because Randy was dying for Havoc's attention and she wouldn't even look at him.

"Why not?" I also smirked at Havoc.

"Oh lord. Please no." she frowned.

"Why not? Don't you want some attention tonight?" I glanced at her in the rearview mirror.

"That's all you." She rolled her eyes.

"That dumbass almost dropped me when we were making out in the kitchen." I laughed. I only laughed to mask the self-consciousness I felt. I glanced down at my body, thinking maybe I needed to lose weight.

"What in the world? He has shaky knees?" Havoc smacked her forehead.

"You're not even heavy. He needs to work out more." Riley said.

"Oh thank you! I thought maybe I was the problem." I smiled in relief.

We continued to make jokes about Ace's shaky knees. We arrived at Randy's house and knocked on his door.

"Hey ladies and Havoc." He winked at her. I swooned over how cute they would be.

"You ready to have some fun?" I pushed past him and entered his house.

"Of course!" he chuckled. Two other boys were already there. I learned their names were Ray and Chad.

"What you guys wanna do?" Randy asking, gluing himself to Havoc's side. I wanted someone to look at me the way he looked at her. I wanted Aidan to look at me like that again

"A movie, I suppose. Bring the Bacardi out, please." I ordered. Randy disappeared to go get it.

We all made ourselves comfortable in his living room as Spencer picked out a horror movie.

"Aye, I'm selling two tickets to the basketball game next Friday. Anyone interested?" Ray asked.

"Yes! But we'll need two more."

"I'll see what I can do. Lemme get your number so I can text you if I get them." He pulled out his phone. I thought he was flirting with me, but I would later learn he would be one of the best guy friends a girl could ask for.

The only seat left was next to Havoc and Randy graciously took it. I mixed my Bacardi with the rest of the Pepsi in the liter bottle.

"Ah, my favorite! Now, let's look at stupid white people get killed." I joked.

We hardly watched the movie as we all slowly got drunk, except Spencer. I noticed Randy and Havoc becoming more and more friendly. Maybe she needed to get drunk more often.

"Are you sure I'm not heavy?" I asked Riley.

"Come here." She ordered. I came close and she picked me up. She held me for a minute and easily put me back down.

"So that bastard is just weak." I sighed. I worried for nothing, He was a different boy. Most guys his age that I knew were strong.

"Why you think you heavy?" Chad asked.

"This dude almost dropped me." I replied.

"He should probably lift more."

"Guys, this is lame. We need to get out." Spencer whined.
