Early Saturday morning, I woke up in an extremely good mood. Only because I was going to the love of my life. I wanted to look my best so I took my time getting ready. I even shaved that morning although I usually shave at night.

I put on more make-up than usual, but I remained natural. When I was done, after two long hours, I was ready to go.

My parents were still asleep, but they already knew of my agenda. I left a note in the kitchen anyway. I had about an hour to drive to get to the field of the football game. Whatever team his sister cheered for was really good because this was a state competition.

There was nothing that could possibly ruin my day. I kept thinking of Aidan's face and how he would react to seeing me. Hell, I would probably never stop smiling.

I hadn't eaten breakfast, so I stopped at a gas station and picked up a doughnut and coffee. It tasted really good and I did not expect that. Or maybe I was just so happy that everything seemed good.

Finally, I pulled into the park. I started to look for the field. I hadn't been there before, but the signs were very helpful. I pulled into a parking spot and when I looked around, I spotted Aidan standing under a tree.

It was an odd day and the weather wasn't as cold as usual. I was only wearing a sweater, jeans, and boots. Aidan wore a sweatshirt, jeans, and sneakers.

I took a deep breath and got out the car. I texted him before leaving the house, but I wanted to surprise him. Slowly, I got out my car and walked over to him. He heard my footsteps approaching and looked up. His face instantly became a display of happiness. I sped up my pace, as did he, and jumped into his arms. He spun as we hugged each other tightly.

"I missed you so much," he whispered.

"I missed you so much more." I replied. He put me down and cupped my face, placing a kiss on my lips. I missed his kisses, his touch. I never wanted to leave.

"My parents are excited to see you, too." He held my hand as we walked to the bleachers. He was taller than last time I'd seen him. I do like my men tall.

His mother noticed me first and jumped out of her seat, throwing her arms around me.

"Charlotte! It's been too long, sweetheart." She looked me over.

"Gosh, I missed your hugs." I smiled.

"Oh, honey! Have you still got that necklace Aidan gave you?"

I pulled it from under my sweater. I felt his hand place on my back.

"I want you to wear that when you two get married. And then pass it on to your children." She winked.

Aidan's father walked over, holding snacks. He must've gone to concessions.

"Charlotte! How are you, dear?" he asked. He handed a cup to his wife.

"I'm fantastic now that I'm here. How are you?"

"Great! I'm glad you could make it. Aidan is a bit gloomy without you around."

"Dad, be quiet," Aidan shook his head. "We're going to go sit somewhere else."

He took my hand and I waved goodbye to his parents as he pulled me away. We walked a short distance, but we were out of earshot of his parents.

We sat down on the cold bleachers and I shivered.

"Are you cold? Do you want my sweatshirt?" he offered.

"No, baby. You'll freeze. The bleachers are just cold." I blushed.

"You can sit on my lap."

"That's not appropriate for a middle school football game." I playfully punched his stomach. His solid abs were still there. The same abs I used to run my hands over and lick all the time.

"Tell me everything that's happened since I've moved away." He said.

I filled him in on the drama at school, but I was honestly thinking about the day before he left.

I didn't want him to leave at all. My face was tear streamed and my mouth was swollen from his many kisses. He held me against his chest and rubbed my back with his hand.

"Everyone doubted us in the beginning. We didn't listen to their rumors. I love us for that." He said.

"I remember all the rumors. People said you only wanted me for my boobs and butt." I chuckled. We were an unlikely couple, but the day I walked into the basketball game and caught his eyes, we were bound to be together.

"Your body is beautiful and I do love it, but I knew I loved you when I first saw you. I just fell more in love after hanging out with you for a couple hours after that game." He kissed my forehead.

"I've never loved someone before." I looked into his eyes.

"You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen." He said.

"Promise me something?"

"Anything. What is it?"

"Promise me you won't forget me. Promise you'll save yourself for me."

"I promise."

"Wow, so nothing major has really happened. I don't feel so left out anymore." He said. We were cuddling like an old, married couple.

"Did you, uh, keep our promise?" I asked, nervously.

"Of course. I honestly don't want anyone that isn't you."

"I love you." I smiled.

"I love you more."

Those words from him meant the world to me.
