"So, Sophie left you and now you're alone with Gabriella." Nathan says

Gabriella smiles at me and grabs my hair. I smile back.

"You're so cute." I whisper while caressing her soft cheek. She giggles and tries to grab my cheek aswell.

Nathan and Tyler continue their conversation.

"Sophie said she couldn't care for the child. She said I would be a better parent." I can see he's hurt. It must be hard to raise a kid on your own.

"I'm so sorry Ty. If you need me you can just call me okay?" Nathan says, he suddenly looks way softer than before.

All of the sudden I get an idea: what if I let Gabriella paint something on the ground. That would be cute.

I ask Tyler: "Maybe Gabriella wants to paint something to?"

Tyler smiles at me and he puts down Gabriella. She tries to walk towards me, but she almost falls. I quickly grab her and carry her towards the paint. Gabriella chuckles and grabs my hair again. "She's a wild baby." I say to Tyler.

"I know. I have no idea where that comes from." He says with a smirk on his face.

Nathan punches his arm and laughs.

I give Gabriella a brush and some paint so she can paint on the floor. There aren't many people just a group of students and they don't pay any attention to us.

"Look she's a professional." Nathan says smiling. Gabriella is splatting paint everywhere.

"Very abstract." I say with a fake british accent.

Tyler laughs. "Maybe she'll be just as good as you two later."

"Well..." Nathan smirks

I punch his arm and he smiles.

"So, you two. Are you a couple?" Tyler says

"Oh no, no we're just... friends?" I say while I raise my eyebrows at Nathan. He smirks and says: "Yeah, just friends."

"I see..." Tyler says smiling

Gabriella is still splatting paint on the floor.

Tyler looks at his phone. "Shit! We really need to go. I still haven't made dinner."

"Oh that's okay. I'll see you later?" Nathan says

"Yes, of course." Tyler grabs Gabriella and she immediately starts crying. I touch her nose and she slowly calms down.

"Bye!" Tyler says while walking away.

When we don't see him anymore Nathan says: "I haven't seen him in 2 years."

"What happened?"

"He and Sophie went away, because Sophie wanted to live closer to her university." He says

I nod and look at the wall. The painting is coming together pretty nicely. I look at my phone and see that it's already 9.00 o'clock. I'm really hungry.

"I still need to eat, so I think I'm going." I say

"Wait, I have an idea. I know a place where they serve the best pizza in New York." He says smirking

"I doubt it. The best pizza is at Rico's." I say

"Rico's?" He looks at me while frowning.

"Yes. It's the best pizza you'll ever taste. Believe me." I say

"Well, I'll need to try it first." He says and grabs his backpack. He walks away and then stops and turns around.

"Where are you going?" I say
