It's A Long Story

part 10.

When we get to Tyler's place I knock on the door. I don't want to wake Gabriella up. After a few seconds Tyler opens the door. He looks at me with a questioning face. "What happened to you?" He asks while looking at my wounds.

"It's nothing."

"No, it's not nothing, you've been beaten up."

"It was dad..." Linn says, her hair is covering her eyes.

"Shit man. Come in, I'm gonna get some bandaids and..." He begins rambling and quickly runs to the cabinet. I step inside and feel the great warmth against my cheeks.

There's a big old couch in the center of the room and in front of it is a crappy tv. The kitchen is very small and the dining table just has two chairs. Linn quickly drops herself on the couch and I walk towards Tyler who's struggling with finding his health kit.

"We're okay Ty, we just need a place to stay. It'll be temporary of course. I'll figure something out as soon as possible." I say and Tyler sighs.

"Yes, of course. You can stay as long as you'd like. I have a spare bedroom just next to mine." He says and leads us to the bedroom. Linn follows and when she sees the bed she immediatly drops down. I can see she's very tired. I understand why.

"I think I'll go to sleep aswell." I say and take of my jacket. I place it on the chair next to the bed.

"Yeah, yeah of course, um I'll see you tomorrow." Tyler says and walks out of the room.

"Good night."

I take of my clothes and just keep my underwear and my t-shirt on. I cover myself in the blankets and lay there quiet. Just thinking about this night.

POV: Lexa

When I wake up I immediately grab my phone to see if Nathan's texted me. Nothing

Hmm well maybe he's still asleep. I turn around and see that Sean has come back today. "Hey Sean?" I whisper and Sean turns around. "Hey." He says and smiles.

"What time is it?" Sean says

"Um... 8 o'clock" I say and look at my phone. It's already 22'nd of december. I need to buy presents.

"We should do secret santa again this year." I say and pick out an outfit.

"Yes, that's great. Who should we invite?" Sean says.

"Um, Anna of course and maybe we can invite Brian and Nathan aswell. If they'd like of course."

"Yes, I'll ask. We can ask Dion aswell. I haven't seen him since we met him. It would be fun." Sean says

"Yes. Tonight I'll stop by Rico's. Maybe he stays there.

"I'll go and ask Brian right now. I'll be back in a few hours." Sean says and puts on his pants.

I nod. Why does he have to leave again. I hoped we could do something together today.

When Sean's fully clothed he walks out of the room. "Bye." he says and I wave him goodbye.

Guess it'll be just me watching Netflix and drawing all day. Not that I'm complaining though. I love lazy days.
