As normal, sleep had escaped my light grasp and slid out the door. Staring upon the ceiling was just one of those things I was now accustomed to.
Along with the thought of leaving, or rather, staying among Men. Leaving what I had now thought of as my people, Thorin, the group I encountered after my awakening, I thought of as my own flesh and blood. I had to leave that, it pained the beats in my heart to know I was to leave Thorin, for I cared dearly upon him, perhaps even enchanted by him.The sun slowly rose, it shone through the window and slowly made it's merry way up the opposite wall. Thorin rolled over and was soon awakened by the shining of the sun on his soft face.
I shut my eyes and faked a sleep as he woke. I could not speak with him knowing I was to leave, leave him behind, like he'd never done to me.He got up, leaning against the wall, then slowly rose to his sturdy feet.
The knob on the door turned slowly, making an awfully annoying noise. The door opened and Bain spoke.
"Good morning to you! We will head down once again once you are ready."
He shut the door once more and left for the downstairs.I opened my eyes slightly to see Thorin readying himself for the day ahead.
"Last day of work." He stated.
I let my eyes open all the way, but did not say anything.
"You are not a good liar, Madeira."
"Whatever do you mean?" I asked, sitting upon the bed.
" 'could see right through that phony slumber." He joked.
I gave a weakly pained laugh. The thought of leaving this man, ached my veins. Though it was the correct action to commit.

Little past, we headed to the forgery. The forgery with the brick walls and carved hallway, and of course, the hole in the wall. Clouds began to settle over the bright sun.
The city was bustling with Men and Women all around, selling goods, doing jobs, deeds. Earning their pays to support their families and loved ones.
Noises of ecstatic people bounced off the tightly packed homes as they spoke amongst each other.
I walked beside Bain as Thorin kept ahead."What was said of that in your veins this day past?" He implored, breaking the line of silence between us.
"I prefer not to speak of it." I said sternly as I began to walk ahead.
He caught my shoulder. "Please, I do no harm."
"I'm not a full Dwarf." I snapped as I turned back to him "There, happy?"
He let go of my shoulder and continued walking.

We came upon the forge and work began again.
Through the hall and into the room with the enormous hole in the wall. But there was no hole anymore, it disappeared and transformed into a brick wall.
The room was turned into an actual forgery, it had many spots to work and more pits to heat the metals, even a stairwell heading up to another floor, but it was still viewable as it was open concept.
A Man with shoulder-length hair and a green waist robe worked on a weapon nearest the spot where the hole once was.
Thorin picked up where he'd left off, as did I.
Work began.~
Hours passed, Bain entered and excused us for a break.
Thorin ignored the call and continued hitting the now beautifully carved metal.
His sleeves were rolled up and he had nothing but a thin shirt on that went just past his waist. It was dark blue with a belt on the abdomen. His arms were that of power and greatness, me eyes had set themselves unto them and would not stray.
