Well I mean I've been really bad about updating this so I'm really sorry and I'll try to be better.
This week the spotlight is on Bluecoats whose show is called Jagged Line. I believe they are currently first place overall with Crown behind them.
One thing I really like about this show is how unconventional it is, like the uniforms, starting off with a solo, and no large brass entrance in the beginning. I also really like the electronic music they use because it helps to really enhance the sound of their hornline and make it sound not bright but not dull either. The flat line and bass line add really good suspension and impacts to the show. I like how they added in the trombones again and how the solo was a euphonium solo and not the traditional trumpet solo. (And that's coming from a trumpet player)
Once the Bluecoats polish it fully, it will most definitely be one of the best shows in their history and tower over the other corps.
Next Friday which is now the day I have decided randomly to update this on will feature either the Madison Scouts or Cavaliers. Leave a comment on which one you want and if not I'll pick.
