45 - Rejected: Part 1
"What are you waiting for?" Dylan said, hitting my shoulder lightly.
I cleared my throats and sat back in my chair. "What do you mean?" I asked, confused.
"Dude, you've been staring at her the past hour," Ryan grinned at me. I shook my head, a smirk across my lips.
"I'm not gonna do anything. She's not my type," I shrugged.
Dylan scoffed. "Yeah, sure."
I grinned and leaned back in my seat as this class continued. My eyes was quick to land on her again. She was beautiful, gorgeous even. Her hair flowed down her back, her eyelashes incredibly long and her lips so plump.
But there was no way she'd go out with me. She was a perfect student with perfect grades, no missed classes and no missed homework. I was one of the jocks. I wasn't supposed to be dating someone like her.Ryan was right. I was staring like crazy. I just couldn't stop. She was absolutely stunning and I was so in for it. I had to ask her out, you know, just give it a try.
"Sooooo," Dylan said leaning close to me, "are you planning on doing something?"
I nodded. "I think I am," I said.
And right then, the bell rang. The guys stood up and left the classroom, I stayed put in my seat as I waited for everyone to leave. Once the last one had left the classroom, I stood up. I moved closer to her. Her back was facing me as she packed her things together. I went around her and stood in front of her.
"Hey," I said. She looked up at me. She raised her eyebrows at me, confused why I was talking to her.
"Uh, hi." She placed her strand of hair behind her ear as she grabbed her backpack.
"Y/N, right?" I asked, even though I did know her name. She nodded, a smile on her lips. "So, I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me someday?"
"With you?" She asked. I smiled and nodded, putting my hands in my pockets. "I don't think so," she said and looked at me with an apologizing smile. My smile faded.
"What? Why not?" I asked confused.
"Justin right?" She said. I nodded, still completely confused. "If you haven't noticed, we're kinda not each other's type," she said.
I chuckled. "Of course I noticed, but that doesn't mean we can't go out," I said.
She shook her head, "I know, but no thanks." And then she walked off. I followed her out of the classroom. My group of guys standing right beside the door. I watched as she walked down the hallway in her jeans that fit that ass so nicely. Dear god....
"What did she say man?" Ryan asked.
"She rejected me..." I said, not believing it. It's the first time that has ever happened and I loved it.
"Are you kidding? You're kidding right now," Dylan said, laughing. "Congrats bro, you got her."
I shook my head and looked at him. "No, Dylan. I'm serious," I said, "she rejected me."
"What?" They all said in sync. I nodded and smiled widely. "Then why the hell are you smiling like some crazy dude?" Dylan asked confused.
"Because it makes me want her even more," I chuckled. "See you later guys," I said and walked off.
"Where are you going?" Ryan asked.
I turned around, walking backwards. "I'm gonna get the girl," I smirked and turned back around, walking the way Y/N had gone.
I was so going to get her. She rejected, and now I'm gonna do anything to get her on a date with me. I smiled to myself as I continued down the hallway. This was going to be different, but fun.
