Frances POV

It was already 6 o clock in the evening ng marating namin ang venue ng reception. Nag take kasi kami ng time sa picture taking sa church. Nag hintay naman kami sa labas ng pintuan ni Alex.

"At this point I assume that everyone has settled down and we are all ready to welcome the newlyweds. Tonight calls for a grand celebration and it is our distinct pleasure to introduce to you for the very first time Alex and Frances as newlyweds." Narinig naming sabi ni Jess.

"You nervous?"

"A bit."

"Just follow my lead Mrs. Benevotta."

"So without any further ado, let us all rise and give our warmest welcome to the newlyweds." And that's our cue.

That song blasted as we entered through the reception. It was beautifully decorated. We were walk dancing to the beat. A lot of guests were making way for us and it look liked everyone was having fun. Mas madami ngayong tao na ikinagulat ko. Akala ko ba onti lang ang may alam na ikinasal kami? We reach our seats then. We were congratulated from left to right until I saw someone unexpected came to us. My dad was with my mom. My dad actually came.

"Frances anak nalate nanaman ako." Sabi ni Dad at yumakap sakin.

"It's okay, you're here now." Sabi ko at yumakap sakanya. Lagi man siyang late sa mga events ko. It doesn't matter. Hindi pa nga nagsisink in na nandito siya ay umiiyak na ko.

Tapos man ang wedding namin, they finally gave their blessing. Pati ang parents ni Alex ay nandito. Napagalaman namin na inayos muna nila ang away nila bago sila pumunta dito. Nag sorry pa nga si dad ng hindi niya ko nahatid sa aisle. He said na kelangan ulitin daw. Nag oo naman si Alex na ikinatawa ko nalang. Sa susunod daw ay mas bongga.

"Take care of my daughter Benevotta." Sabi ni Dad at niyakap din si Alex.

"Of course. With my life sir."

Nagkangitian naman sila at sumunod na kumausap samin ay sina Lala at ang Parents ni Alex.

"Iha. Best wishes at sana mapagtiisan mo ang anak ko." Sabi ng mom ni Alex at niyakap ako.

"Hahaha. Thank you po." Sabi ko at yumakap pabalik.

"Ma naman." Sabi ni Alex na ikinatawa nalang ni tita.

"I'm sorry na hindi kami agad nakapunta. Kelangan ko muna kasi ayusin ang gulo namin ng dad mo. Ininvite namin lahat ng taga Empire." Sabi ng papa ni Alex.

"It's okay po." Sabi ko ng nakangiti.

"What matters is nandito kayo at ayos na ang lahat." sabi ni Alex.

"The Empire is whole at last." Sabi ni Lala.

That's right. The Empire is whole again. With the reconnection of our family, the feud is over. It is a new beginning.
