Albus's POV

I don't know what I'm going to do. Ever since Y/n and Scorpius started dating I've tried to avoid them. It's hard when they are my only friends. At every meal I've had to sit alone. Every class I've ended up with Rose. I was walking to dinner with James when we saw Scorpius talking with Y/n. James gave me a look and and we walked over to the Gryffindor table.

"So what happened between you guys?" James asked as we sat down.

"Well I had a crush on Y/n but I didn't realize it until Scorpius and Y/n started dating. Now it's too late."

"Ok. That's nothing. What you gotta do is do something romantic. Like really romantic and then just tell her that you like her. Easy peasy!"

"Well alright. I guess." I say getting up.

"Good luck lil' bro!" he calls after me. I walk out of the Great Hall and go look for Teddy. I don't trust James's advise all that much so I better see what Teddy has to say.

I search for what feels like hours before I finally see Teddy's blue hair by the lake. I walk over and sit down by him.

"Hey Teddy. Can I ask you something?"

"Uh sure. Why not."

"Umm ok. Well there's this girl I like but she is dating my friend. I can't stand seeing them together and I feel like I should tell her but I'm not sure."

"Hmm. Well that's tough. Maybe try and wait it out. That way you can make sure you know exactly what you're feeling. By the time your sure they might have already broken up. If you can't wait though. Just go and talk to her. Don't say exactly who it is. Maybe just ask her what you asked me."

"Woah. That's perfect. Thank you. Gotta go."

"Yup. Have fun." I run up to the castle and start my search all over again, looking for Y/n. I find her in the library looking for books.

"What's up, Y/n?"

"Looking for books. You?"

"Not much. I was wondering if I could talk to you?"

"Yeah of course!"

"Ok well. There's this girl and I like her. But she is dating my fr- uh someone else. I want to tell her how I feel but I don't know if I should."

"Hmm. Well. I think you should ask her if she's happy in the relationship. If she is then maybe wait it out."

"Ok. Well in that case, are you happy in your relationship with Scorpius?"

"Wh-what? Well. Um. What?" she asked.

"Well. You see. I have a bit of a crush on you. I think I have for a while and I don't want to ruin your relationship but I can't stand seeing you two together."

"You have a crush on m-me? Really?"

" Yeah. But I get it. You're with Scorpius and I was too much of a coward to even tell you and now it's too late. I'm so stupid and- and" I started to get worked up and a small tear escaped my eye. Why am I such a big baby.

I groan and lay my head on the table and try to get it together when I feel a small hand on my shoulder. I look up to see Y/n smiling.

"I have to get back to the common room. I'm gonna think about what you said. I'll talk to you later."

"See ya," I mumble.

Y/n's POV

I start walking back to the common room and think about what Albus said. I mean. Scorpius is awesome. But I don't see him being more than a friend. I don't really feel like we are in a relationship right now either. He's just like my best friend. I can't believe Albus has a crush on me. Like an actual crush! I guess I'm going to have to talk to Scorpius.

I walk into the common room and see some platinum blonde hair. I take a deep breath and walk over.

"Hey"

"Hi, Cutie!"

"Um- uh. Scorpius, we gotta talk."

"Oh um already. What's wrong?"

"You're awesome and all but. I don't know. I guess I only see you as a friend. You know. I really don't want to lose our friendship. I'm really sorry."

"Oh well that's alright. I was also thinking. I know someone that has an enormous crush on you. Way bigger than my little one and I've felt bad because he really likes you."

"Um. Who is it?"

"Don't tell him I told you but I think you should know. It might be sort of Albus."

Really? Like he has a crush on me! It didn't seem like it." I say hoping he doesn't find out Albus already told me.

"Yeah! It seems you have a bit of one on him too! You gotta go talk to him!"

"But right after we broke up? Isn't that a little mean."

"Oh I don't care. You're my bestie! Go find him!"

"Thank you so much Scorpius!" I run out to go talk to Albus again. As I get closer to the library I hit something hard and fall to the ground.

"Hey! Watch where you're going next time!" I say standing up.

"Oh! Oh my gosh! Y/n! I'm so sorry! Are you ok?" I hear Albus's voice. It sounded like he was panicked.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Listen. I think we should talk."

What about?" he said shyly.

"Well Scorpius and I ended our short little relationship we had."

"Oh?"

"Well we see each other as more like friends than anything else. Plus I kinda like another guy."

"Who?"

"Well there is this guy named Albus that apparently likes me. The cool thing is, I kinda like him too."

"Oh cool. Wait what? Really! Are you sure? I mean if your not it's ok but-" he keeps rambling on so I give him a short kiss on his soft cheek to shut him up. All of a sudden I feel him lean in and hug me. As we pull away and I see that Albus is as red as a tomato.

"Wanna go for a walk?" he asks taking my hand.

"Sure!"
