The Questions

Albus's POV

Scorpius and Y/n came back from their talk. Scorpius always seemed to smile but now, he is smiling like an idiot. Y/n seems pretty happy too. I wonder what they were talking about.

"So. What did you guys talk about?" I ask carefully.

"Well, um. Uh, Scorpius told me something." Y/n said quietly.

"Okay then," I said.

"Yeah. I told her how I felt and we are going to spend the next Hogsmeade trip together!" Scorpius said happily.

"YOU WHAT!" I yelled. I don't know why I'm even mad, but I am. Why did Scorpius ask Y/n out? "You like Rose, don't you?" I said a little quieter.

"Remember. I told you a few weeks ago. You said I should tell her." Oh, I forgot about that. I wasn't listening and thought he was just talking about Rose like usual. I'm so stupid. I should have told Y/n how I felt at the picnic like I planned. Now she's gone and I'll never get the chance to tell her. Maybe Rose knows what I should do. She's better at these things. Plus I don't know if I will be able to see Scorpius and Y/n together. At least not right now.

"Oh, yeah. I remember. I'm going to see Rose. See you guys later." I get up and leave the common room and run to the Gryffindor common room. James always gives me the password so I give the Fat Lady the password and run in. I see James and ask if he knows where Rose is. He mumbles something like 'the library' so I yelled thank you and bolted out the door.

By the time I got to the library I could barely catch my breath. I see Rose reading in the corner and walk over to her. She hears my footsteps and looks up.

"Um, hey, Rose. Could I talk to you?"

"I guess. What is it?" she says putting her book down.

"Well, there's this girl, that I like. But her and one of my friends started dating and i have no clue what to do."

"Oh yeah. I heard that Y/n and Scorpius got together. Katy told me."

"Who's Katy? How do you know so fast?" I ask confused.

"I have my ways. Also Katy is    Y/n's friend. Also, you're going to do nothing. They are happy together."

"How can I just do nothing!" I say loudly.

"Because you're a good friend. Now be quiet. we're in a library." After she says that I groan and walk away. I know she's right but I can't do nothing. Maybe I can talk to Scorpius. He would understand. I run back to the common room to find Scorpius and Y/n still sitting on the couch.

"Uh, hey Scorpius, could I talk to you. Alone."

"Yeah, sure!" He gets up and follows me to our dorms.

"Ok, I know you like Y/n and it's great that you two are dating..." I pause trying to think of what to say. Before I can continue Scorpius says something for me.

"Yeah. It's great being with Y/n. I'm finally not thinking about Rose. Plus Y/n is so sweet and kind." Hearing the way he talked about her and how he seemed so happy, I knew I couldn't say anything.

"Exactly. But if you hurt her I will personally throw you in the lake," I say.

"I'd like to see you try!"

"Is that a bet?" After that he ran out of our dorms with me chasing behind him.
