"Can I take the blindfold off?" I ask, hopeful that Abel will say yes, since I've been like this for the past twenty minutes or so.

Abel's surprising me with something and he decided to blindfold me to make it even more surprising.

I hate surprises and he knows that, but I guess he just wants to do something nice for me.

These past couple of days, Abel's been so sweet. A part of me thinks that he's being like this, so that I don't ask him questions about why he had that breakdown three days ago.

Every time I try to bring it up, he'll completely change the topic,  not wanting to speak about it at all.

I hate that Abel pushes away his feelings. He needs to understand that keeping everything bottled up isn't healthy at all, especially for his mental health.

"One second," Abel says now, guiding me further. "Okay." He steps behind me and brushes his fingers against my neck.

I bite my lip at the feeling, starting to feel ny body become slightly hot.

Abel and I haven't had sex yet and I can tell I'm sexually frustrated.

It actually confused and surprised me when Abel stopped us from going too far. He honestly seems like such a different person - I can't tell if I like this new him or not.

The soft fabric of the blindfold falls away from my eyes and I look around at my surroundings in complete shock.

"Oh my God!" I breathe, taking in the setting of the penthouse, which is decorated in mainly black and white. "Is this ours?"

Abel nods, grinning. "You like it?" he asks, kissing my cheek.

"I love it!" I exclaim.

"Let me show you around," Abel says, grabbing my hand and leading me through each room.

"When did you do all of this?" I want to know as Abel leads me up the stairs.

"Only two days ago," Abel answers. "I told Cash I wanted to buy a penthouse, since I didn't want to stay at the house anymore after what happened there and he showed me some that he thought I'd like and I chose this one."

I nod. "Did you pick out all the furniture, too?" I ask and he nods. Smiling, I kiss his cheek. "I love it. I can't believe you managed to actually do this in just a couple of days."

Letting go of Abel's hand, I walk into the bedroom to find the same black and white scheme as the rest of the house.

"I bought you new clothes, too," Abel tells me, shoving his hands in his pockets and watching me.

Raising my eyebrows, I walk towards the walk-in closet to find it full of new clothes and shoes. They all still have the tags on them.

I walk over to Abel and wrap my arms around him, burying my head into his chest. "You didn't have to do all of this," I tell him. "But thank you."

"I wanted to do something nice for you," Abel mumurs into my hair as he runs his fingers through the knots. "Plus, I really needed to get out of that house."
