The walk outside was peaceful of some sort. The two enjoyed splashing each other while stomping on puddles. Though Youngmin had no idea where he and Joo were going, he enjoyed every bit of the walk.
It was until Joo finally made a stop in front of two large bushes that had a concrete pathway in the middle. She looks back at Youngmin and holds out her hands for him to take before they start walking again, "Follow me."
There were thorns here and there which annoyed the crap out of Youngmin, but he didn't mind when he found out where Joo took him. It was a simple yet beautiful patio. Almost as if it was a hideout.
"Whoa." Was all Youngmin said before Joo ran up the steps to take a seat on the bench, patting down the empty spot next to her inviting Youngmin over.
As the two sat down Joo carefully looked under the bench and picked up a dusty notebook that was very unique looking which caught Youngmin's eyes. The book looked like some magical spell book and had a word on top of it like a title.
"Hiraeth"
As Youngmin carefully read the title in an English accent, Joo couldn't help but laugh. Youngmin's pronunciation isn't that good which made the word sound a bit funny.
"You're so cute," Joo pauses, but then flashed a smile at Youngmin. "You still need to look it up by the way."
"Ah, yeah I will soon." He smiled.
Joo flipped through the pages and her eyes lit up when she finally found something. It was a diary entry of what she felt after watching the first few episodes of Produce 101. She starts to laugh as she shows Youngmin the entire page she's written that day. "I liked you from the start on the show."
Youngmin raises an eyebrow and looked at Joo. She was oblivious and didn't notice Youngmin's gaze and just kept reading the page. "What about now?"
Joo looked up and nods her head smiling like a little girl. And gosh, that smile can kill. Whenever she smiled, Youngmin's heart would go crazy and he's only seen her smile for about 4 times. Her cheeks were cute, her smile was cute, her awkward personality was cute. All of them together was a perfect match for him.
Joo drops her gaze as she realized how awkward it would've been if she just kept looking at Youngmin who had a straight face, yet his eyes were sparkling as she looked into them.
"Anyways," Joo breaks the silence and pulls out her phone. "Do you want to meet my friend?"
Joo quickly dials her friends number not even giving a chance for Youngmin to answer, but of course he was willing to meet her anyways.
"I'm sorry, but the person you called is-"
Joo pouted and hung up quickly and Youngmin just smiles at her. It was hard not to smile after knowing how Joo acts. He could just pinch her cheeks. Which eventually he did.
