"Do you ever listen?!" Joo slammed her notebook on the floor. Youngmin backed up a bit shocked and stared at Joo with his eyes welling up with tears.

She wasn't the same optimistic person she was before. Joo was different. Her face was pail and she had this cold aroma around her. The feeling in her heart stayed hidden and she couldn't manage to be herself at this time.

"I..." Youngmin was stuck in his own place not even knowing what else to say. His eyes were shaky and he was intimidated. Seeing Joo like this was so sudden that he felt his heart shatter a bit. The flowers he had for her were hidden behind his back with one arm and he tightly gripped it.

"You what? Huh? How many times did I have to say to you that I want to be alone?"

"Joo-"

"Youngmin!" Her voice cracked loudly as she attempted to yell at him causing him to be shocked again. "I specifically said that I want to be alone and don't want to communicate with anyone. Why are you being so stubborn?"

"I'm not leaving you alone. I promised that...didn't I?"

Joo paused and curled her hands into a fist, her nails digging into her skin. Tears ran down her face as she was crying in frustration. "I don't need you. I don't need anyone. Don't talk to me, don't stay with me. Leave..."

Youngmin licked his lips tasting the tears that fell on top of them. He nodded his head and looked down at the floor for a split second.

"Okay, i'll leave." But before taking a step to get out of Joo's sight Youngmin sighed and looked up once more. Joo ran her fingers through her hair in frustration and quietly weeped in pain from what she was feeling inside. The sight of it was hard to bare, but Youngmin couldn't just leave without saying one more thing.

"If you care about someone, you do the best for them to be happy..." Youngmin inhaled deeply, his voice shaking as he tried to get the words out his mouth. "If leaving you alone makes you h-happy then...i'll leave you alone. Because I care."

Youngmin took a few steps out of the patio feeling the rain drops hitting his body ever so slightly. His heart was trembling as he couldn't say what he wanted to say, but again, he wasn't going to leave without saying it. "Just know that Joo,"

She looked up slowly revealing her red and puffy eyes that had endless flows of tears falling down. Her hair drenched from the rain that was falling atop of her as she walked alone without any protection to the patio. Youngmin could see the sorrow in her eyes and felt pain. All he felt was pain.

"Even if you don't have the same feelings for me, i'll still keep what I feel for you. Because I love you." And with that, Youngmin placed the flowers he bought for Joo on the floor in front of her, leaving her alone. His body fading into the fog and rain in this depressing night of autumn.

The rain was quiet, but you could hear the droplets crying with Joo. The leaves were blowing away softly in the breeze leaving her in a peaceful yet painful state.

The passing of her grandma wounded her heart very much which added to the scars that were left from her late parents.

The one she said was the only person she had left was...gone.

"I'm not the only one you have left. You now have Youngmin, who loves and cares for you as much as we all did." Those words lingered around her mind as the tears continued to fall.
