(I rewrote this chapter bc the previous one was hard to continue with LOL)

"Hot coffee or ice cream?" Youngmin asks Joo as they walk out her house together.
"Hot coffee!" She instantly replies with a smile.
Youngmin chuckles to himself while nodding his head. "Coffee it is."
And that was basically how every day went with the two. Donghyun would always call it a date, yet Youngmin disagrees. Being the cliche boy he is, Youngmin only thinks that it would be called a date if it involves skinship. Which never had happened between Joo and him.
It was a starry Monday night and the city was beautiful as always. Both Youngmin and Joo stopped by their favorite café and ordered their coffee as the usual. Then they walk out and leave to the patio back in Joo's neighborhood.
There, they would always tell each other almost everything. Over the times when Youngmin would pay her visits, she opens up and shows more of her optimistic side. Their friendship grew on and on. Joo would also be more talkative than before and just go off about how she loved certain things such as the rain, the flowers in the patio, and even her own teddy bear. And even with those small things that Joo did, it made Youngmin fall for her even more.
"It's starting to get colder, huh?" Joo says while she and Youngmin sit closely together on the bench.
"Yeah." Youngmin replies a bit awkwardly as he avoids eye contact with Joo. "Seems like autumn's coming soon."
There was a good minute of silence as the two just sip their coffee quietly while looking around at the flowers or to the sky.
Youngmin begins to tap his foot as he felt nervous. It was about time he let's out his feelings at this point. But what was refraining him from doing so, was if she even felt anything back. Yes, they've gained a close relationship as friends, yet that's what made Youngmin anxious. Because what if that's all she wanted?-to just be friends. He could feel himself tensing up as he felt a bit hot even though the weather was getting slightly chilly. His ears were warming up along with his cheeks.
"Youngmin are you alright?" Joo taps Youngmin's knee causing him to flinch and blurt out something unexpectedly.
"Be my girlfriend."
Joo, a bit surprised at Youngmin's sudden statement, just blinked a few times and stays stiff. "Huh?"
"B-because I like you...a lot. Like a lot a lot. A lot more than you think. As in I have a crush on y-"
"I like you too."

Jdjsbshs i need to stop being cheesy, but anyways i always imagine Youngmin being such a dork and awkward type to a girl he likes, so this chapter is also an example of what i think will happen to Youngmin and his future wife💀😂
