Chapter Twenty-Four: A Day at Work

Alright- finally back after a bajillion years of being dead, I would also like to say that because of my long absence, I'm giving you guys a little gift? What could that be- that's right, a super long chapter! I dunno if you can tell though- I still dunno if it will be updated regularly though. How are you guys?

Chapter Twenty-Four

Kaelen's P.O.V.

"Alright, guys! I'm leaving now and I'm taking Dhairya so that you guys don't scare the poor guy anymore than you already have."

I walked out to my car with my hand interlocked in Dhairya's and smiled down at him. He really was just the cutest thing ever, and I'm sure that nothing in the world could ever make me forget that because he would be here everyday to remind me just by being there. I stopped by the door, pushing him against it and kissing his lips softly before pecking his cheeks again, wanting to remind him just how much he meant to me.

Dhairya looked up at me a little confusedly and tilted his head. I just chuckled and shook my head before leaning down to kiss him again, just as soft as before. I think I might like the taste of his lips. I wouldn't go so far as to say that I'm addicted, because really, I'm not. I can't be addicted to his lips, but I could say that I loved the taste of them. So much.

"Hm? What was that for, Kaelen?"

I smiled and shook my head, "It's nothing, Angel. Don't worry about it, just felt like kissing you, that's all."

He looked at me a little suspiciously before nodding and reaching out to open the door. Of course, I couldn't let him because he would miss the cool feature of this car that I had finally brought out, hoping that it would make him all happy and curious.

I took out the keys and pressed down on the button that would open the cars automatically and watched as Dhairya's mouth drop open and he gaped at the automatic door. Everything that he was doing was extremely cute at the moment- I've gone extremely soft.

I bent down and mocked a little bow before looking up at him with a cheeky grin, my lips curling up. He looked down at me and scrunched his nose before leaning down and kissing my nose gently, giggling and climbing into the seat and pulling the door close. He stuck his tongue out at me and I pretended to be shocked, even putting my hand on my chest to put in the good dramatic measure.

I laughed a few seconds later and went over to my own side, getting in and starting the engine. I looked over to make sure that Dhairya's seat belt was on before putting my own on. I pressed on the gas before looking back and backing out carefully before driving out of the woods and merging along the road with all the other cars.

"Kaelen? Can we listen to some music? Please?"

I glanced over at Dhairya quickly before turning back to the road and nodded at him. I flicked my hand aimlessly and put a small half-grin on my face.

"Yeah, go ahead, Angel. Grab my phone and put in the aux cord and you can use whatever you want to get the songs, yeah?"

I smiled and felt him move next to me, grabbing the phone and plugging it into the car. I almost laughed immediately when i heard the song 'Let it Go' blast from the car stereo. I glanced over at Dhairya again and couldn't help but chuckle when I saw that he was bobbing his head and mouthing along to the words.

"Can I play only Disney songs? How would you feel about that?"

I felt Dhairya shift and I knew that he was getting to be a little nervous so I smiled and nodded, "Of course you can. Whatever you want."
