Chapter 3: Summoning 101 For Dummies

The most important thing you can do is to forget everything you have been taught about demons from sources that are hostile to Satanism.

Following the instructions written in most grimoires can not only be wrong but can also be very dangerous.

Being respectful of demons is very important because they are very proud of one's own being. We warn anyone who may have stumbled upon this book: using spiritually abusive methods of the old grimoires is not only foolish but can inevitably result in personal anguish or disaster. Demons must always be approached with utmost honesty, politeness, and respect.

When you are new to Satanism, most demons are willing to help out. Satanism means self-empowerment through consistent meditation and using the power of our minds and souls to accomplish our goals and personal desires.

As progression moves forward, you should be able to be competent in all aspects of magic and be able to influence your environments on your own, without any help. However, there may be a circumstance where issues can be overwhelming and the help of a powerful being could be needed. Demons are here for spiritual guidance.

From own experiences, I would highly recommend to those of you to establish a close and strong relationship with a demon who is willing to guide you along.

Remember that demons have rules. They are not allowed to roam freely upon earth without restriction. They also need to have an open invitation into your home. The purpose of a summoning ritual or seance is to communicate with the demon and formally invite it into your world.

These invitations can be written on your own accord, or taken from ancient Latin scripture. Either way, it's your choice, but a formal invitation must be included.

After coming up with your formal welcome, decide what your exit strategy is. Are you inviting the demon to stay in your life, (not technically recommended), or is it your intention to bring it close enough to speak with or strike a deal then send it on its way back to where it came from?

For a stronger connection, try speaking in Latin or any language that is old.

If you no longer wish to speak with the demon, politely ask it to leave. When you end the invitation, think of it like asking guests to leave after a party has run on too long. And, just like you would with your friends, please remember to do it politely, don't "cast it out" after you've invited it in. That's just rude.

Candles are a nice factor to add in. The energy produced by the candles makes for a stronger bond or connection.
