"I need a shower, are you joining?" He murmurs against my lips. His hands rest against my hips on the exposed flesh that feels like it burns under his touch.

A blush spreads over my cheeks and my hand presses flat against his chest; gently pushing him back a few centimetres. "W-with you? In the shower?" I ask quietly and bite my lip.

He lets out a few chuckles. "Of course." He says like its the most obvious thing in the world. He grabs the hem of my shirt and lifts it over my head. Goosebumps erupt as the cool air hits my skin.

Damian grabs me by the hand and takes me over to a large wooden door that leads into a separate bathroom. Glistening black and white spotted marble tiles catch my attention and my eyes widen in awe at how large the bathroom is. There's a glass showering room and a separate bathing area with a glistening white tub that's underground to more black and white marble.

"How do you afford all this?" I gape at the many fancy soaps and the wall of colognes that all of them seem to be completely new except for one that stands out with how clearly used it looks. A beautiful mirror takes up almost an entire wall with vines twisting around the black frame. My apartment didn't stand a chance compared to this.

"King of Babylon; it comes with the job." He says while kissing me softly and I laugh slightly. He steps out of his jeans and a blush erupts on my cheeks. I can't help but look away out of embarrassment.

"Hey, you don't have to. Just tell me and I can back off." He says softly and grabs me by the shoulder to turn me around. I laugh lightly. Intimate. That's a word I thought I'd never be with someone.

"T-that's not it." I manage. "I just haven't been this close to anyone in the entirety of my life before. It's just all very new." I admit and shift my eyes anywhere else but his intense gaze. He doesn't say anything, instead, he dips down and kisses me softly and tenderly. That was all I needed for reassurance.
