Imagine waking up in the morning with a smile on your face
thinking about the day ahead knowing it will be fast paced
but you don't care at all and it will never be worth a sob
because you have a career working with children, oh what a job
the smiles, laughs and cuddles they give you
there's nothing that makes you happier, nothing more true
the children surprise you each day with their learning and development
and to think that you're guiding them, it's such an honorable achievement
tomorrow is a new day and I'm so excited I want twirl
it's safe to say that I'm proud to be a career girl
