Byakugan Princess: The Cursed Jewel [Book 1]

Part 13

It's been weeks since the Uchiha guards left the land of Spring. They were struggling hard to find the fugitives and all the people who were helping them.

Shisui Uchiha wasn't in a good mood since they escaped. He's beeing trolled twice, one time the moment where the Hyugas escaped and the recent one by the pink haired witch.

"Sir, the Queen is demanding answers" one of the men said. "We haven't done any progress since.."

"That's because you are all fools!!!!!! You are useless people to me!!!" he yelled at the men while activating his sharingan. "Don't come back to me unless you have them alive!!!"

"H-hai sir!" the men replied.

Shisui was about to continue walking but then he stopped once he felt a strange chakra. He signaled his troops to stop moving.

"What's wrong Shisui-sama?" one guard asked.

"Show yourself, sand ninja" Shisui said while ignoring the question.

"Hmm I guess your chakra senses are gettig better" said Kankuro while appearing with some of his men.

"Kankuro..." the Uchiha said. "What are you doing here?"

"I should be the one asking you that question Uchiha" he said. "It's not normal seeing you walk around Sunagakure's borders with your troops.."

"Hn.. that's none of your business" he replied.

"Too bad, but it's my business cause you're about to cross our lands" kankuro said while crossing our arms. "And don't play dumb with me, I have more men than you here"

Shisui smirked, "Hmp. You win this time Sabaku no... I'll see you around then.."

The Uchiha left the area with his troops. The Uchiha guards were confused, so they asked him about what happened.

"Sir, are we gonna run away just like that?" one guard said.

"We got the information the Queen needed. We're going back to the castle" he replied while smirking. He knew that the Uchiha and the Sand Village never got along and the sudden appearance from Kankuro was only the key for him to know that the Hyugas are going there for protection. Which means that soo. there will be a war.

Meanwhile, the Hyugas along with Tenten, Ino, Sakura and Lee were walkig in the middle of the desert towards the Sand Village.

"So, how long Tenten?" Sakura asked.

"We're almost there" she said. "If we keep like this, maybe tonight we'll arrive"

Ino noticed Tenten's tone while speaking but stood ailent for a while. Then, after many complains they decided to take a break.

"Tenten" Ino said while approaching her. "Tenten don't ignore me"

"What is it?" she replied, serious.

"I saw it Tenten. When I took control over your mind..I saw it all"

"Then there's nothig to talk about" she said while standing up. Ino looked with worry at her.

"I won't say anything. I promise" she said while giving her a warm smile.

"Fine then" she replied while leaving. "Time's up. Let's go before it's too late"

Ino stood up and stared walking as if nothing ever happened and so did Tenten. They keep on walking until they finally reached Sunagakure's gates.

"Hold it!!!" One man said. "Who are you?!"

"Who do you think it is?" Tenten said while smirking. "And today I got guests!"

"Dragon's eye!! Lord Kazekage has been waiting for your arrive" he replied. "Come I'll escort you"

"Wow, the rumours run fast" Hinata said while following them. "Neji? Are you okay?"

Neji stood there walking and thinking of what he accidentally heard. What did Ino saw when Tenten was under the pearl's curse?

"Neji nii-san?" insisted Hinata, caughting him off guard.

"Uh..I-m fine Hinata-sama. I'm just tired" he replied.

"Okay..." she said.

They walked through the village to get to the Kazekage's castle who was in the middle. It was big and had a circle shape. It's colour resembled the sand.

"It's bigger than our home" Hinata said while looking at it.

"Dragon's Eye!" yelled a female voice.

"Temari" she replied. "It's been a short  time right?"

"Yes it is. Come, my brother's waiting for all of you.."

"All of us?" asked Sakura.

"Yes, all of you" she replied while smirking.
