"Gaara-sama!" said one of the men while bursting into the office.

"What now" he replied annoyed. "I swear if it's about the council-"

"Itachi and Izumi Uchiha just came into the village" he said.

"What? How is it possible?"

"I don't know. Temari-san called for the medical team while they got imprisioned."

Hinata who was standing by his side working on some papers, got up. "We should go. There's a reason why they came here right after we escaped the Uchiha lands"

"Hn." he said. "Take us where they are."

"Woah woah.....So, you're saying that you escaped from the Uchiha's attack?" Shikamaru asked while interrogating the Uchiha couple.

"They went after us right after you escaped" Izumi said.

"But weren't you at the coronation?" Temari said. "You and Itachi are married, so you're part of Sasuke's royal family after all"

Izumi and Itachi glanced at eachother. Sai noted this so he spoke.

"Why you looked at eachother like that?" he asked.

"Well, it's complicated" Itachi replied. Then Hinata and Gaara arrived at the interrogation room along with the medical team.

"Where are they EHH?!?!?" Sakura yelled. "ITACHI!!! IZUMI!!!!"

"Umm...Hi Sakura-chan.." said Izumi awkwardly.

"What are you doing here?!?!?" the pink haired girl asked.

"Looks like you know eachother from way back" Gaara snapped.

"Izumi and I learned our medical skills together" the Haruno said while healing them.

"I had skills back then durig battle but the Uchiha clan refused to recognized me because I'm not from the main family and also because I'm a woman" Izumi explained.

"I was the only one who ackowledged her skills so we became friends and eventually got secretly married." Itachi added. "The clan didn't accepted our relationship. All our relationships and marriages have to be arranged...and that wasn't our case.."

"So we kept it in secret" Izumi said.

Shikamaru sighed, "No offense, but your clan has serious mental problems.."

"Shikamaru!!" Temari said while hitting him in the head.

"But there's something I don't get" Sai said. "Why are you here now?"

"Because we helped Naruto escape" Itachi said. Hinata gasped.

Gaara blinked. "He's alive?!?"

"Badly injured, but alive" Izumi added. "Sasuke put him in jail and raped him again..."

Everyone stood silent for a whike processing everything. Gaara clenched his fist out of frustration.

"He made him confess all he knew about the revolution. He broke him mentally, when we went there...he wasn't himself" The Uchiha girl added.

"We helped him escape but they discovered us. We had to take different paths, and he told us to come here" Itachi added.

"He's out there alone. He could die" Temari said. "I think we should help him"

"Unless he's distracting the Uchihas with his escape and giving us more time" Shikamaru added.

"Or" Hinata added. "He will hopefully help us persuade the lands to assemble. That is, if he lives"

"He's an Uzumaki. We'll hope that he has enough stamina and chakra to survive out there" Gaara sighed. "For now you will stay here, we can't let you go out of this room for security reasons. Once we know that what you're sayig it's true, then we'll sent you free"

"Hai!" Izumi said. "We expected this when we came so once everything's settled we'll get free"

"But before you leave" Itachi said while stopping the Hyuga princess to give her a scroll. "I think you should read this if you want to destroy the pearl"

Hinata blinked. "What's this?"

"A scroll" he said. "I'll tell you how to keep the power of the pearl controlled"

"Thank you, but I don't think I'll need it"

"Is it because you think of it or because it made you?" he asked while Hinata stood silent while her hand trembled.

Gaara noticed this before leaving and went beside her. "We'll take it just in case it's getting our of control, right Hinata?"

Hinata glanced at the red headed boy before leaving "Hai"

As they both left the room, Gaara watched her walking through the hallway. He stared at her love with worry.

"Something's bothering you brother" Temari said while standing beside him. "And don't tell me otherwise because I'll not buy that bullshit."

"Hn."

"The pearl's affecting Hinata's behavior, you know it" she said.

"She doesn't know it yet" he said.

"She's denying it. That's the first step of fallig into the darkness. Denial. No matter how much she tries, she'll eventually fall into it, and when she realizes her mistake it'll be too late." she said while putting an arm on his shoulder.

"Don't let her fall Gaara" Temari said while leaving him. "If she falls like our mother did, it'll be over."
