Chapter Four

But it's up to you to know who they really are...

Paulit-ulit sa utak ko ang mga salitang binitawan nina Mia at Gray. Unang araw ko pa lang dito, nag-iisip na ako ng ganito. Ako na ang bahalang kilalanin sila? It looked like they're a big deal around here. Do I really want to know?

I was drawn to them for some reason. Ganito ba talaga ang epekto nila sa iba or was it just me?

Napailing ako. I shouldn't be thinking this much over people I didn't know. It's only my first day here. I needed to chill and stay calm. But I couldn't help but think of how unprepared I am. All the knowledge I have with this school suddenly went down the drain because it all seemed different than what I expected.

There's more to Sinclaire Academy than meets the eye.

I only knew the outer exterior of this school. Wala akong alam sa mga asal ng students dito, tanging ang patakaran lang na galing sa handbook. Base na rin sa tinagal ko rito ay mukhang may kakaiba nga rito kumpara sa dati kong pinag-aaralan. I shouldn't compare, I know. But hindi ko maiwasan. Lahat ay moderno, maganda, maayos, masasabing pribilehiyo ang makapag-aral sa isang paaralan na tulad nito. Mukhang galing sa mararangyang pamilya ang students, and I guess because of that, they have all the freedom they want here. One example was the dress code. Wala kaming uniform dito. Everyone was free to wear whatever they wanted. Also, there weren't authority figures looming around unless you counted the teachers. It made me wonder who even runs this school.

"Sabi ko sa 'yo eh, dito ulit sila mag-aaral. Ayaw mong maniwala sa akin," bulong ng isang student sa likod ko.

Bumalik na naman tuloy ang isip ko sa tatlong 'yon. I swear, every single student here was enthralled by them. Bago magtapos ang lunch hour kanina, may kumalat na naman na isa pang balita. Parang apoy kung kumalat ang balita rito sa Academy na 'to. Parang nakatatakot tuloy gumawa ng mali o mag-eskandalo dahil mabilis malaman ng lahat. There were eyes and ears everywhere.

May isa pang nagbabalik bukod sa kanilang tatlo ngayon. Her name was Rianne DiLaurentis. Ang sabi may nakakita raw sa kanya na naglalakad sa hallway kaninang umaga but wala nang nakadagdag sa balitang 'yon. Ibig sabihin ay wala nang nakakita pa sa kanya. Ang sabi nina Mia at Gray, si Rianne ay ang pang-apat na member ng grupo nina Carly, Cain, at Senri.

Ang tawag sa kanila ay Fearsome Four.

It's a weird name, I know. I just shrugged and didn't ask for the history of the name. According to Gray and Mia, Rianne and Carly were known as Queens of Sinclaire Academy and one day, Rianne left for a long time at walang may alam kung bakit but before she left, Rianne made it clear to everyone that Senri Sinclaire was hers.

I was not really surprised. I saw that coming. A queen should have a king by her side kaya naisip ko ay isa sa dalawang lalaking 'yon.

Tinanong ko si Gray kung 'sila' ba at ang tanging sagot niya ay "She wished they were together, Senri just doesn't give a fuck. That guy is too hot for his own good."

Ang ibig sabihin ba n'on ay pinaaasa lang ni Senri si Rianne?

Dapat hindi ko siya husgahan nang ganito kaaga pero 'yon ang tingin ko. Bakit hindi man lang niya i-deny o sabihin man lang ang opinyon niya?

Sabi nila, maganda si Rianne at siya rin 'yong tipo na sinisigurong alam ng lahat kung sino siya rito sa SA.

Mia and Gray explained that besides the Pyramid, SA students follow a social hierarchy. Kung ano raw ang rank mo sa Pyramid, 'yon din ang rank mo sa social hierarchy. Ito ang nagsasabi sa students kung saan sila lulugar dito. Humans obviously belonged to the bottom of the hierarchy while the Fearsome Four were on top.
