Self-control. That was what I've been doing for the past hour. Gusto kong kalabitin siya para makita ang mukha niya o kaya ay sabihin sa kanya na makinig naman, but the smarter me thought otherwise.

Was it wrong for me to think of biting his nose?

Nakalingon lang siya sa bintana kaya kitang-kita ko kung gaano katangos ang ilong niya. Nakapangalumbaba siya at sa buong klase ay hindi siya tumingin kahit kanino but everyone's eyes were on him though. I sometimes catch our classmates throwing subtle glances our way. Again, I can't blame them if they'll go into extreme measures just to stare at him. Senri Sinclaire was intriguing in his own way.

Hindi ko alam kung aware ba siya na tinititigan ko siya. Maybe he chose to ignore me and everyone else. Baka iniisip niya ngayon ay isa ako sa mga babaeng naghahabol sa kanya.

I jumped in my seat the moment our class ended, but before dismissing us, nagpahabol na ng homework ang teacher namin making the whole class groan. Napabuntonghininga ako bago tumayo.

Kinuha ko na ang bag ko at nakayukong lumabas ng room pero napatigil ako nang may katawang humarang sa harap ko. Bahagya kong inangat ang ulo ko at nakita ang itim na t-shirt. Nakatalikod siya at pero humarap rin siya sa akin.

"Hobby mo na ba ngayon ang banggain ako?" Senri asked using an annoyed tone at nakita kong inilagay niya ang phone sa bulsa. Kailan ko pa siya nabangga? Tiningnan ko lang siya na hindi pa makapaniwalang nandito siya sa harap ko ngayon. Natauhan ako bigla at umiwas ng tingin. "So now you're avoiding my eyes now? Well, Miss Walter, I reckon you staring at me for a full hour."

Busted. Abort Mission!

"Paano mo nalaman ang pangalan ko?" I asked despite my shock. He wasn't present nang mag-roll call. 'Yon lang ang explanation na naiisip ko para malaman niya kung sino ako at wala siya kanina. He was late kaya paano niya nalaman?

Seconds passed and I did not get an answer from him. Instead of asking again, I followed his eyes and saw that he's staring at my hand. Before I can react, he immediately reached for it and trapped it in his. I tried to pull away from his vice like grip but he won't let go. Ano ba'ng problema ng lalaking 'to?

"H-hey, let go..." I struggled to escape his grip. My eyes locked with his once again and what I saw next made my breath hitch.

His eyes were dilated. It had a dangerous glint in them that struck panic in me so I struggled more to get out of his grip. Ayaw pa rin niya akong bitawan. For the second time today, my heart started to beat faster. My moves turned slower until it came to a complete stop. I can't take my eyes off him. It was as if he's compelling me not to look away.

Naramdaman ko ang isang kamay niyang pumulupot sa baywang ko at nanatili ito roon. I stood in his arms, frozen, hands cold, and mind blank. I tried to open my mouth to get at least one word out nang bigla niya akong tinulak papasok ng classroom.

I stumbled back, losing my footing. His eyes were still dilated and as more seconds passed, the darker his eyes became. He clenched his fist, trying hard to control himself. Seeing his hand made me hold mine. I can't feel anything. It went numb with how tight his grip was. Humakbang ako palayo sa kanya. Hindi ako makapaniwala sa nakikita ko. Para akong binuhusan ng malamig na tubig when it all dawned on me.

Senri Sinclaire wanted my blood.

He was about to take a step forward nang biglang bumukas ang pinto. It revealed Cain and Carly Woodsen.

The twins took a few seconds to assess what's happening just by looking at us. The next thing I knew, nakatabi na sa akin si Carly. Sinarado agad ni Cain ang pinto at dumeretso sa tabi ni Senri at may binulong dito. I couldn't focus on Carly Woodsen because my eyes were locked on the guy who was about to drink my blood kung hindi lang siya napigilan. Cain continued to whisper things to him. Senri's eyes slowly turned back to normal and he nodded at whatever Cain was telling him.
