Chapter Eleven

Hindi ko alam kung ilang oras na ang lumipas. Senri was still next to me in the same position. Ngayon hindi na ako sigurado kung gising siya o hindi. Sa haba ng oras na dumaan, hindi man lang siya gumalaw kahit isang beses, habang ako kanina pa tingin nang tingin sa paligid namin every time I heard rustles from the bushes or a nearby area like a paranoid kid.

I heard another noise at tiningnan ko kung saan 'yon nanggaling. When I saw that it was nothing, binalik ko na lang ang tingin ko kay Senri then flinched when I saw his eyes open.

He's staring right at me again. He didn't look mad or anything, pero kinabahan pa rin ako with the amount of stares I gave him habang nakapikit siya. Alam niya kaya 'yon? Nakakahiya!

"You won."

"Ha?" I replied, confused. I won what?

"You won Carly's stupid game," he stated with an exasperated sigh. He looked bored and slightly annoyed with my slowness.

"Hala! Hindi pwede 'yon. Talo na ako kanina. Ikaw pa nga nakahanap sa 'kin, 'di ba?"

"Oo nga pero hindi ka naman pumunta sa grand hall kaya ang iniisip ni Carly ngayon, ikaw ang panalo." Napakamot siya ng ulo sa inis before muttering a few incoherent words. I managed to catch two of it, which are stupid and girl but I shrugged it off.

"Paano mo naman nalaman na 'yon ang iniisip ni Carly ngayon?" Was that a vampire thing or something?

"I know things. Alam ko rin na kanina mo pa ako tinitingnan." He smiled smugly.

I was caught off guard with the sudden appearance of his dimples. Senri stood up and placed his hand in front of me to help me stand up but I only stared at it because the action itself seemed impossible to happen even in my imagination. Senri Sinclaire helping me? Someone wake me up from this alternate reality!

My gaze went to his hand and back to his face, still unsure if I'm going to take it or not. Thinking of Cain's ability didn't help my current situation. Gano'n din ba ang ability niya? Is it safe to touch him?

Napansin niya siguro na wala akong balak na tanggapin ang kamay niya so he took it upon himself to help me up by grabbing me by the shoulders, pulling me on to my feet.

"Since you're the winner and I'm your seeker, I have to give you your prize," Senri said. Parang ilang beses niyang ni-recite ang sinabi niya with how bored he sounded.

"What kind of prize?"

Senri stepped back before bowing formally. He turned his gaze up, offering his hand again. "Miss human, will you dance with me?"

My breath hitched. Am I dreaming? Is this real? Am I still in the right reality? I'm not seeing things, right? Senri Sinclaire was really in front of me, offering me a dance!

I blinked and pinched myself just to make sure. It's no use. He's still here at sumakit lang ang kinurot ko.

Senri Sinclaire was asking me to dance with him.

Hindi ko pa ma-absorb nang maayos ang nangyayari no matter how much I told myself that it's real. So, again, he took it upon himself to pull me by the waist and clasp our hands together for our dance.

"Whether you like it or not, this is your prize. You have no choice and so do I."

That kind of stung a bit, but to heck with it. He said so himself, parehas kaming walang choice.
