The next morning, I woke up fairly early. It was about 8:30AM. I yawned and stretched out my feet, then shoved my face into my pillow. I tried really hard to go back to bed but it wasn't working so I had no other choice but to get up out of bed and use the bathroom.
The door was locked, it must be Jack or Alyssa. I knocked on the door.
"I'm in here!" Jack yelled from the other side.
"Oh! Sorry Jack..." I say, walking back into my room. I didn't know what to do so I just decided to go onto Facebook. Miranda was online so I messaged her.
Hannah - hey Miranda
Miranda - hey Hannah... i saw the news.. r u ok?
Hannah - yea im alright. my cheek still hurts though -.-
Miranda - i cant believe you did that for Alyssa.. im proud of u Hans :)
Hannah - awww thanks Mir. i just feel bad for making fun of her and calling her names now
Miranda - this is where i say told you so :P
Hannah - lol shut up :)
Miranda - so what are you doing today?
Hannah - me and Alyssa are going to the beach to meet up with some boys
Miranda - Hannah!? meeting boys!? ooh la la where did this come from ;)
Hannah - Alyssa suggested it not me lol but hey, maybe it will be fun
Miranda - get your flirt on kitty
Hannah - oh stop that!
Miranda - rawrrrr ;)
Hannah - very funny. i need to go wake up Alyssa. we need to be at the beach by noonish. c u later
Miranda - have fun :) be careful
I log off of Facebook and notice that the bathroom is empty but make my way to the guest room where Alyssa is soundly sleeping. Her blonde hair is in a messy bun, toppled on the top of her head and breathing softly. She looked very peaceful... I didn't feel like waking her up but I had to.
I walk over to the edge of the bed and tap on her sun kissed arm. She grumbles and mutters something before turning to the other side.
"Alyssa... time to get up.." I say, shaking her softly. She slaps my hand away and keeps snoozing. I lay down next to her and stare at the ceiling, waiting for her to wake up herself. She switches sides again, so I turn my head toward her and that's when she opens her eyes. They are a soft baby blue color and we just look at each other for a few minutes.
"What time is it Hannah?" she asks, rubbing her left eye. She looked better without all that goopy makeup on her face.
"It's about 8:45 or 8:50 maybe" she nods and turns so that she is laying on her back, looking up at the ceiling.
"You excited about the beach?" she asks, smiling.
"Yeah of course" I reply, stretching out my arms.
"Okay move it squirt, I need to take a shower" she giggles, pushing me playfully off the bed.
"Actually, may I take a shower first? I'll be quick I promise" I begged.
"Oh alright, go ahead" she said, giving in and pointing to the hall. I thank her and rush off to the bathroom. I take a five minute shower and get out, putting my damp hair in a towel and one around my body. I go into my room. putting on my favorite yellow polka dot bikini and a green t-shirt with brown khaki shorts over the swimming suit.
