I audibly sighed as I finished placing the final box onto the living room floor. I rubbed my face and groaned as I walked to the kitchen, fishing through the barren cabinets and fridge to find something, granted I just moved in yesterday.
I huffed and felt my phone buzz in my back pocket, my ringtone being hardly audible. I looked at the contact and saw who it was, reluctantly answering the call.
"Hello?"
"HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYY SEOKJIN!"
"Hi Hoseok," I laughed.
"How much are you liking the new place? I bet you're missing me a lot, aren't you?"
"It's nice here, it is an apartment in the middle of Seoul, so it's bound to be nice, even just for one person. As for missing you, it's not as much as you'd think and/or hoped it'd be."
"Awwwwww~ maybe I'll visit sometime~"
"I literally just said how I don't miss you," I rolled my eyes.
"I know, but deep inside of you, I know, somewhere in that cold, cold heart of yours, you have a soft spot for me and you miss me!"
"Sure."
"Whatever, I'm still coming to visit you sometimes!"
"You do that."
"Watch me you hoe!"
"Alright, whatever. I'll have to talk to you later."
"But-"
"Bye!"
Before he could rebuttal, I hung up while laughing. I felt my phone buzz in my hands after a few second and I smiled as I looked at the screen.

I chuckled and sat my phone down onto the kitchen counter. I decided to take a look around my fairly new apartment. About a month ago I decided to up and leave my hometown to something bigger and better, although it was hard to leave nearly everything else behind.
After working my ass off at different jobs, I could finally afford a small apartment in Seoul. I applied for a few jobs here, taking a chance at becoming an assistant to a CEO. I had doubts of actually getting that job, since I'm only twenty-two and am freshly out of college a few months ago.
The apartment I chose was a comfortable size for one person or a couple. One bedroom with a connected bathroom, a full sized kitchen and living room, and a small dining room on the side of the kitchen. I had all the necessities and the rent wasn't that high either, which was a plus.
It was nearing 10:00 pm, and I decided it was time to call it a night for now. I went back to grab my phone from the kitchen, checking to see any more notifications, which there were none.
I changed into my pajamas and crawled into the near bare bed and soon went to sleep.

A few days later...
I went out for the day, getting groceries as the last task. It was quite chilly today, so I bundled up in a jacket and beanie covering my dark brown hair. I walked back into the apartment building and sat my bags down as I used my key to get my mail.
I opened the box, grabbing all of the mail from back home and letters from family. I made my way up the stairs, because I found them quicker than the elevator.
I unlock the apartment door and walk in, closing and locking said door behind me. I placed the mail on the small dining table and the bags on the kitchen counters, slowly beginning to put everything away in their respective places.
I slipped my shoes off, placing them by the front door, along with my coat which I hung up on a small hook beside the door. I walked across the floor in my sock clad feet back to the dining table, sifting through the envelopes.
'One from appa and eomma, Hoseok, one from hyung, CEO Kim Namjoon, A second and third from Hoseok, why doesn't Hoseok just text-wait.... CEO Kim Namjoon?'
My eyebrows were knitted together as I looked at the envelope with curiosity. I neatly opened the envelope and pulled out all of the papers, holding the hand written letter in my hand.
"Dear Mr.Kim Seokjin:
Thank you for submitting your application to our company. We are always glad to welcome a new face and personality! Welcome to the company Kim Seokjin! Mr.Kim Seokjin, your application was one of the best and I request a meeting for us to discuss your job and other things on January 11, 2019.
I have no doubts that you will make a wonderful assistant and a great addition to our team. Hopefully your youthfulness can bring some life to this dreary place.
There is no need to dress up for the meeting or to any day of work, this company is very casual, so just dress comfortably. The only need for fancy attire is foreign meetings and company dinners.
-CEO Kim Namjoon"
I read it over and over again, making sure I didn't miss a single word and that my eyes weren't deceiving me either. I couldn't believe it, I got the job that was the most risk-taking job I applied for, which shocked me beyond belief.
I quickly wrote the date down onto a stick note and stuck it by the door, also putting a remind into my phone so I made sure that I wouldn't forget and mess everything up.
I decided to tell Hoseok the news because he helped me apply for it and he was rooting for me the entire time.
