Jungkook's P.O.V.
Cafe Meeting

"Jimin, we're here!" I yelled through the empty cafe, hearing myself echo.

"Just a second."

He emerged from the back, his apron still on as his hair slightly messed up. He smiled at Hoseok, reaching his hand out to shake it over the counter.

"Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Park Jimin."

"Annyeong, Jung Hoseok," Hoseok smiled. "Jungkook-ah already told me that you're my dongsaeng, so I am your hyung."

"Is that the only thing you told him about me?" Jimin asked, resting his hands on his hips.

"Pretty much," I smiled, stuffing my hands in my pocket. "Let's sit down, we have a lot to discuss."

"So how long have you know Seokjin hyung?"

"I'd say about twenty-two years."

Hoseok let out a chuckle, revealing his heart shaped smile that seemed to light up the room.

"We've known each other for our whole lives. Our mothers say we've been best friends since in the womb," he chuckles again, taking a sip of the tea Jimin had made for all of us. "So... I understand that Jin hyung is sick, but why did you need me of all people to come?"

Jimin and I looked at each other for a second before I opened my mouth, but Jimin beat me to the explanation.

"Seokjin hyung doesn't really like to talk about his family, but he talks about you a lot, so we'd thought you'd be a better option, to be honest with you hyung," Jimin mumbled, playing with the hem of his shirt. "And from the little comments he makes, I think that it's best that he's not around his family for a while."

"I unfortunately agree with that," Hoseok signed. "I personally think that his moving to Seoul was the best decision he's ever made in his life."

"Why is that though?"

Hoseok seemed to hesitate at the question I asked. He looked down at his hands and looked back up to us, opening his mouth to answer.

"Hyung's family, or more so his parents, wanted to make sure he did his best in any way possible. You probably heard he graduated early from high school and university, let's just say that that took a toll on Seokjin hyung, mentally and physically and emotionally," he sighed. "I don't really like talking about it, it's just...... The things that went on in that household were not correct or normal. Him coming to my house was his only escape from all that, that's why he's so close with me and my family."

"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to hyung," Jimin reached over the table, laying a hand on Hoseok's arm. "Take your time."

"I-uh-I..." he paused, "I just want to say that Seokjin hyung has gone through a lot, so don't stress him out too much if you can. He may not show it, but there are some things that are eating him up on the inside."

Jimin and I both nodded, not quite understanding, but we understand to put too much work on his shoulders. Jimin went to get some fresh cookies to try and lighten up the mood for a while. When he brought them back, we all took one, enjoying the silence as we ate.

We went back to the complex, taking the elevator since it was late and we were tired. When Jimin unlocked the door we all took our shoes, showing Hoseok to his room.

"Oh, and-uh... one more thing," he stopped right in his doorway. "Pay close attention to hyung's hands. He'll say it was his piano teacher, who was his mother."
