Seokjin's P.O.V.

I watched as the raindrops splattered against the windows that were directly in front of me. Each one hit the glass and quickly glided down, creating infinite streaks along the window on the outside.

Namjoon was currently in a meeting, one were he apparently doesn't need me at all. All of his papers were sorted for now, no incoming calls were coming, so it was finally time for me to relax.

I thought back to all of the family gatherings I've been missing out on due to my job, but I do not regret it at all. Within the three months since my grandfather's passing my mother has been wanting me home more often than I already was, but that's just not possible for me to do, which breaks my heart. I already told them I'd have to miss Christmas, and it's barely September.

I looked down to the streets from where I sat, resting my head in the crease of my folded arms atop my desk. The black and rare colorful umbrellas seemed to blossom and bloom like the flowers from the past spring. A group of teenagers huddled under a bus stop, each one looking soaked from head to toe as they walked - more like ran - home after school. There was no use for them to be taking shelter, but to each their own. They squished against each other as they shivered, immediately boarding the bus as soon as it pulled up to the sidewalk.

My glasses sat on the tip of my nose, skewed a little from my position. I sat up and caught my reflection in the window. My tanned skin was paling as the days went by, due to summer being over, even though I never really went outside unless necessary. My face had gotten slimmer as the months went along, but a natural pink blush still fell on the apples of my cheeks.

I fixed my glasses and ran a hand through my dark brown hair. Boredom had began to settle in within the room, but there wasn't much that I could do about that at the moment. I laid my head back down onto the table, reaching out a hand a little in order to glide my fingers over the cold glass.

I now looked up, seeing the deep gray clouds looming over everyone's heads, the sun nowhere to be seen. The rain poured down to the earth, which was an annoyance to many people, but I found it comforting most of the time. The corner of my lips curled up into a small smile, continuously looking out of the window, turning my head left and right to take in every little detail of the scene displayed in front of me.

I turned around a little to steal a glance at Namjoon's desk, smiling slightly before huffing through my nose and turning back around. Namjoon and I slowly got closer and closer as days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months, especially after the fiasco in Busan a few months ago. We've kept up attempts to try and hang out after work at least one time a month, whether that was going out to a dinner or just hanging out at my apartment and eat pizza.

My thoughts were cut off by a soft buzz coming from my phone.

I picked it up off of the table and looked at the contact, worried just a bit when it was my brother who was calling me.

"Hello?"

"Seokjin-ah, you should check the email I sent you, it has something I think you might want to see."

"Okay? Is that all you'd like to tell me?"

"Please read all of it, including the comments. Eomma and appa miss you very much. We know you're busy Seokjin-ah. Take things slow, hope you'll visit soon."
