≪Seokjin's P.O.V.≫
≪Photo-shoot and Paparazzi≫My stomach has not calmed down since I found out what was going on today. The red marker on the calendar saying 'Photoshoot' usually does not phase me, and it didn't, until I found out it was a photoshoot with me. Well... me and Namjoon.
I'm used to standing on the sidelines, behind the cameras and the lights and the attention. Now I had to be the center of it all and I was less than pleased at the news Namjoon dumped on me last night all of the sudden at dinner.
"I knew that if I told you earlier you would be sneaky and call them and say we couldn't do the photoshoot," Namjoon chuckled, turning right onto the street of the office. "It's nothing to worry about."
"It is something to worry about, Namjoon," I huffed, slouching in my seat as much as I could before the seatbelt tightened on my chest. "I hate having my picture taken and you know this."
"I know, and I'm sorry," he took my hand it his softly, "I really am, but it will be just this once unless you give the green light. I don't want you worrying all day, that's why I told them to do it in the morning so that we can go straight back home."
"I don't want to be on the cover of any magazine, Namjoon."
Just the thought alone of my face on the cover of a nationwide magazine made my stomach even more upset. What if my parents saw? What if people from school see? There are too many 'What if's to this situation.
"How long will it take-"
"We're only doing one outfit and that's it," he smiled after parking the car with ease behind the office building. "It'll take us an hour tops and I'll treat you to a late breakfast afterwards. There's no interview, only pictures."
He looked over at me after undoing his seatbelt. I met his eyes and quickly glanced away to look outside my window, my cheeks burning and my palms clammy. I huff and undo my seatbelt as well, gently resting it back into the mechanism before leaning over to grab my bag.
"Are you mad at me?" he asked, pouting a little as he leaned over the center console.
"To be honest..." I sighed, thinking through my words very carefully, "yes, just a little. I'm upset that you, one, pulled this stunt behind my back, and two, said that I would try to cancel it if I knew. It just hurts a little."
"I'm sorry, darling. I didn't mean to come across as rude."
"I know you didn't," I smiled, looking into his eyes. "Love you."
I could see his eyes soften as he whispered a near inaudible 'Love you too' against my lips before pecking them. Then again... and again.
"There's the smile I want to wake up to every morning."
I turned away to open my car door before he could see my cheeks flushing a deep red, the crisp air outside biting at the warm skin before I pulled my scarf up to cover them. He met me behind the car, walking hand-in-hand to the back entrance of the office building. It was weird to see the parking lot this empty while it was still light outside - other than Namjoon's car and the two or three vans from the magazine company the remainder of the lot was empty.
The first floor's lights were off, but the sunlight flooding through the large windows helped us see where we were headed. The elevator took us up to a floor I've only been on a few times when Namjoon wanted to oversee someone's photoshoot or do his own, very rarely though. Even then, I didn't really look around, busy on my phone or dealing with stacks of papers we needed signed or stamped later in the day.
