≪3rd P.O.V.≫
≪Stressed≫The past few weeks have been just fine when it comes to Seokjin and Namjoon's relationship. They've slept over at Namjoon's house almost every weekend and if Seokjin didn't spend the night, the elder would come the next morning early to take him to breakfast before they would drive to the company building together. But, the last three days have been weighting heavily on both of their shoulders when it came to work related things.
Our work hasn't let them have even an hour off lately.
Both of them have fallen asleep at their desks multiple times, having to wake each other up was a hard thing to do when they knew the other was extremely tired from days of nonstop work. Every single time they tried to make plans to go to a restaurant for dinner or stay in to watch a movie for a date, Namjoon would have to bail on Seokjin, since he was so busy.
It didn't bother him too much when Namjoon would call to say he couldn't make it. But it's embarrassing when you're waiting outside a fancy restaurant in a nice suit, on the phone being turned down for a dinner you've planned for weeks.
Those pictures were out everywhere the next morning. Seokjin almost in tears as he called Hoseok to come and pick him up ten minutes after he dropped him off. Once Hoseok pulled up in front of Seokjin, he bursted out in tears after opening the passenger's side door, climbing in as quick as he possibly could.
"You have to understand, Jinnie. It's his job after all."
"I know, it's just that today was our two month anniversary and he promised me he'd be there."
The following day, Seokjin had Namjoon knocking on his door holding the biggest bouquet of flowers and box of chocolates you could imagine. He handed them to the younger and got on his knees, begging for forgiveness for his actions the night previous, promising me he'd make it up to him.
Seokjin got snapped out of my thoughts when Namjoon's office door swung open.
"Good morning, Seokjin."
"Good morning, Yoongi hyung."
Most of their conversations were virtually silent, whether they were looking at each other or not. Seokjin kept his back to him, filing through many papers at once, jotting down some notes before standing and putting them away. Yoongi messed with some papers on Namjoon's desk, since the elder was absent from his office at the moment, most likely in a meeting by himself.
They both exchanged farewells as he left with a large stack of papers in his hands, sifting through them before he even left the room. He closed the door gently behind him as he walked out, kicking it closed with his foot.
Seokjin liked it when the office was quiet, the only sound being the tap of the keys on Namjoon's keyboard and the scratching of my pen against the paper in front of him. He felt his eyes droop just a bit when he caught himself staring into space for the seventh time today. He got no more than four hours of sleep last night, work keeping him up until five a.m.
On the bright side, everyone's work is being put towards a new boy group we are debuting in a few more weeks, the teenagers being so excited during promotions and filming. The smiles they're putting on their faces are good enough dopamine to keep all of them going even when they feel like zombies.
