Seokjin's P.O.V.
Shy

I was glad to have woken up before Namjoon had this morning. It has been a few days since the photoshoot and, once again, we were being followed everywhere. Albeit, it is not as intense as last time, it was still crazy to even leave the house for more than two minutes.

Namjoon was still asleep in the bedroom, cuddling onto my pillow that I slipped between his arms so I could slither out of the bed. It was three in the morning and me waking up at this time was a normal thing for the past week. I'd usually just get to work right away - bury myself into my computer and do whatever math problems or write whatever essay or analyze whatever text I needed to for the day. This time I detoured to the kitchen to grab myself a strong cup of coffee and a small breakfast.

I skipped dinner on accident last night - passing out on the couch at six in the evening and staying that way until ten minutes ago - so I needed something in my system that won't make me feel sick. I settled on two pieces of toast for now, Namjoon would be upset if I did not eat breakfast with him later.

In no time I was upstairs in the study to begin for the day. I checked my email, groaning at all of the unread messages. Many I forwarded to Namjoon since they had to deal with him and not me, others were addressed to me - one being a cat video Jungkook sent me with the message 'Yoongi-hyung' attached to it. I've told him multiple times that my email was for business purposes only and that he should text me stuff like that, but I've given up at this point.

Doing schoolwork was a boring way to begin my day, but it had to be done at some point, so why not now. The sun hasn't even risen yet and my curtains and blinds are closed in the room, the only light coming form my lamp and computer. I read through my assignments and was so happy to find out that I didn't have much left for the rest of the week, so I could take it lightly.

I was glad to get a head start on my day while Namjoon kept sleeping. The house was quiet and the neighborhood was calm for the next few hours. Rain began pattering on the window a few moments later and only added to the calming atmosphere while I worked.

I had no distractions as I began working, reading and writing for the next two hours before Namjoon is supposed to wake up to start his day. My fingers stoked the keys of the keyboard laid in front of me easily, as if it's all I knew.

An hour ticked by easily. Crumbled piece of paper near the trashcan that were ripped from my notepad easily as I scratched math problems on the lines in pencil. The rain was pouring harder outside, the droplets thundering against the window to my right. A candle burned on my desk which filled the room with a lavender scent.

I didn't hear the knock at my door before it creaked open slightly. I glanced over and was not surprised to see Namjoon peeking into the study.

"What are you doing up?" I asked, spinning in my chair to face him as he walked towards me. A blanket was wrapped around his shoulders and his blonde hair stuck up in every-which-way, showing off his dark brown roots.

"I should be asking you that," he grumbled.

I stood from my chair just in time to be pulled into a hug. His breath fanned over the side of my neck as he held me tight to his body. His shirt was twisted severely around his torso telling me he just woke up and immediately jumped out of bed.

"You thought a pillow could replace you?" he muttered into my shoulder, leaving a short kiss right afterward.

"It worked for the past hour and a half," I chuckled. "I'm working, Namjoon. You need to go back to sleep so that you won't be grouchy all day."
