An hour isn't a long time.

Think of driving through the city at a decent speed,

But imagine driving to a different town in the middle of nowhere.

They both take about an hour.

Time is a wondrous thing.

When you're young,

You lose track of it.

You don't realize how much time you're wasting,

when you could just tell them how you feel.

Don't let time ruin you,

and take control of your fear.

Tell them how you feel,

and talk to the new kid.

They're shy,

falling into the same trap.

Yet I have finally cracked.

Let me switch gears,

and take us further back.

Time went by so slow those years,

and they gradually got faster.

When you go back and look at it,

it all went by really fast, yes.

But in the moment,

you couldn't tell it was fast.

I call it learning.

When you were young, you learned something new very often, constantly having different, new and exciting firsts.

You went from first steps, to first word, first time in a big bed, first day of school, and many more.

As you grow up though, you have those firsts less often. You don't learn many things as close together, and because of that, the time in between goes by faster.

They're is no scientific explanation for this as far as my research has showed me, although I could be wrong and somebody could already have an answer based off of experimentation.

I like to believe though that my reasoning sounds logical. Does that mean its right? Of course not! Isn't it comforting though to have some type of closure? What if we decided to start learning new things. We would get more out of life, and we would have an even better quality of life.

I do not know the answers to everything, nobody does. If you feel like you need to search for the answers then you will be disappointed that you wasted all of your precious time on something that doesn't exist. You could have just enjoyed what you had.

but you lost it.

The time ran out.
