Pursuing the purity of happiness,
Drowning in the noise in her head,
Keeping walls up.
Just s girl,
Chronicling her journey,
Through heart ache,
Disappointments,
Lost friendships,
Misplaced trust,
Broken bonds,
Tears,
Laughter,
Just a girl,
Finding herself,
Finding her place,
Falling in love with herself
Becoming and blossoming,
Accepting her shortcomings as a less than perfect human,
Trading a dark, gloomy night,
For bright sunsets,
Frolicking in the spring fields.
Just a girl,
Girl on a journey.
