Chasing Cars

Short Note

I just wanted to thank everyone who read this/was a part of creating it. I still have the epilogue to upload, but for now, this is the end.

Some of you may have expected this, others of you might not have. The point of this book was to confuse you, to leave you wondering a number of things, i.e. "Why is it titled Chasing Cars?" "Why did Andrew die?" "What is the point of some of the characters?" And more. The story is way more complex than I'll ever begin to show in words. When I began this book, I wanted to write something impactful and non-cliche that would leave people thinking "woah" when they finished it.

Chasing Cars was a HUGE part of my life. For a year and four months, I slaved over this book. It was always on my mind, to the point where I always had a notebook on me for when ideas would spark.

I think my favorite idea was when I thought of the light and dark chapter. I'm sure most people guessed who the people were, but you still were never completely sure :) I think it added to the intensity of the story.

Being honest here, when I started this book I had no idea where it was going. At all. All I knew was that I was going to finish it. "I started Chasing Cars with nothing but a laptop and a dream"

Um.... yeah well there are too many people to thank for this. The characters were all created by real people, which makes this story a little bit of everyone rather than myself. So many people created this.. and I just can't believe it's over! I will never forget when I first wrote this :)

This note is giving me some extreme emotions oh ma God!! ;-;
