Teenage party

It was time to get changed for the welcome party thing at school
I put my dress on, hoping to have it off by nine o'clock tonight
I went outside to my parents
"Omg, the car looks proper new. I love you guys really so much" I said
We had a big hug
"We love you loads too Leah" Mum said
"Leah, you look absolutely gorgeous today" Dad said
"Yeah I guess I do. Just need mum to do my hair now and I need to do my make up soon as well" I stated
Mum followed me inside
I turned around to mum
"Mum, can a party actually get you over an ex?" I questioned
"I don't think so dear. Don't worry, you'll do great at your new school and you might find yourself a new loyal boyfriend" Mum replied
Everything was done and ready
I got into the car with my parents
"Mum can you come with me to sign in or whatever? " I asked
"Leah, I know your worried, but just follow other girls and see where they go. I'm not gonna be here forever" Mum slowly replied
"Omg these girls are classy" I thought
I followed one of the girls in
"Hello there can you please help me" I asked the girl
The girl turned around
"You talking to me newby? Of course you are. Walk with me and you'll find where to go. You must be brave coming to this shit hole" she said
"Why what's so bad about the school? And what's your name?" I asked
"My name is Jessie,  I am 16 and the school is crap and all the teachers tell you off when your not doing anything wrong" Jessie said
"Oh. My name is Leah and I am 17 tomorrow" I said
We walked to the party
"There you go new thing.  Enjoy the party" Jessie said
I smiled
"Hello young lady,  whats your name so we can check your not a intruder" a member of staff said
" Leah Skye is my name. I'm the new girl" I said
"Ah your the newly student. Right,  well I am Mrs Smith and I have worked here 5 years now and come with me to place you with some girls who gets along with everyone" the teacher said
We walked over to the group of girls
"Hey ladies, this is Leah and she's the newby of the school. Please look after her and show her where she is meant to be next term" Mrs Smith said
The teacher left
"Hey Leah" a girl said
"Hi" I replied
" I am called Chloe and this is my friend Emma Bridgewater and we are both happy to look after you this term" Chloe said
I looked around and saw this hot guy looking right over at me
"You have an admirer Leah" Emma giggled
"Don't be silly. Anyway I don't want any kind of relationship with anybody yet" I said
Chloe and Emma looked at each other
"Let's dance!" Chloe said
"I don't dance sorry"
"Don't be a spoil sport"
"Come on Leah" Emma said dragging me to the dance floor
We started to dance
"You can choose a song to listen to you know" Emma stated
I smirked
She passed me a piece of paper
"Write your favourite song of all time on the paper and Chloe will go hand it in for you" Emma said
I wrote ' the Vamps, all night' on the paper
"Cool choice of Song leah" Chloe said
My song was starting to play now
"Yes girl. This is the song what will get you started with a guy this night" Emma said
"Shut up" I muttered
I started to fully dance with effort in
"We need to get her a boyfriend by the end of the night" Chloe said
"Yes agree. She's the prettiest  girl of the school and she needs to be happy" Emma replied
