7 Years Later; Ages: 25
Hiccup's Pov
It's been 7 years since I left Berk. I have changed so much. I have been captured and tortured countless times, but I always have Toothless there with me. I still love Astrid and am excited yet sad and nervous to see her. Berk comes into view and I can see people crowding. I slide off of Toothless' back we free fall together. He catches me and we hover, and then I stand and do a backflip off of Toothless as he lands. I land on my feet quietly and shift my prosthetic to walking mode. I'm wearing my helmet and my dad comes up. Also, did I mention I'm way stronger and can fight really well.
"Who are you and what's your business?" My dad booms. I remove my helmet and everyone gasps as they see I have grown significantly and have bigger muscles. Also to see the scar the goes across my eye.
"Hey dad" My dad walks up to me and pulls me into a bone crushing hug.
"Dad, can't...b-breath," He lets go of me.
"I missed you so much we have so much catching up to do." He says as he leads me to the Great Hall to eat and talk about what I've been up to. I see him sneakily send a terrible terror out.
Astrid's Pov
It's been 7 whole years since Hiccup left and each day I'm praying he will come back. The gang and I have been stopping dragon hunter ships and everything but it's not the same without Hiccup there. Everyone has always been a little more sad, even Snotlout. I walk to the ClubHouse to find Fishlegs practically squealing.
"Fishlegs what's wrong?" I ask him.
"Oh my Thor your never gonna believe this Stoick just send a terror saying Hiccup's back." Oh my I can't even keep my excitement in. We tell everyone the good news and immediately pack and head to Berk.
Berk (many hours later)
Berk is in view and... I see Toothless with someone on his back! HICCUP!!
He stands up with a mask, I don't think he sees us, and backflips off. WHAT!!!???? Then he opens wings and starts flying and yelling out in glee.
"That was awesome!" The twins yell as I roll my eyes. He starts flipping in air with his wings on. Toothless shooting under him to keep him higher.
"We should go up to him" Fishlegs suggests.
"Yeah I bet he's still useless." Snotlout says. I glare at him after he says that. Hiccup gets back on Toothless but starts flipping on him. Everyone gasps.
"WOAH!!!" The twins and everyone else are in awe. We fly up to him quickly.
"HICCUP!!" we all yell in excitement and soon he gets startled and falls off.
"HICCUP!!" We all yell this time nervous for our friend, who seems so calm and a Night Fury who's following. We all go down to see whats happening.
"So just plummet or..." He says sarcastically as Toothless swoops under him and brings him back up to us. All of us mouths wide open.
"Hey guys." He says like it was the most casual thing in the world for him to fall off of Toothless like that. He takes off his helmet to reveal how much hotter he's become and also a scar that runs across his right eye.
"Hey how's it going?" Fishlegs asks.
"It's good. I missed home, why don't we talk down on the ground. You must be hungry from the flight."
"Okay" Everyone agrees.
Hiccup's Pov
After Astrid and the gang startle me off Toothless we head to the Great Hall to get something to eat. Astrid still looks beautiful, I tried to get over her, but I couldn't.
"So where'd you go," Fishlegs asks.
"Everywhere, I encountered so many people like the Romans, don't like them."
"Yeah but I bet you are still a wimp and useless." Comments like this wouldn't have gotten to me back then but back now. I swiftly stood up angrily.
"You wanna say that again to me Snotlout." I spit his name out.
"I bet you are still a wimp and useless and you didn't deserve Astrid. She saw you and realized you were worthless." That was it.
"You wanna fight Snotlout, let's fight."
"Okay where and when?" he says confidently
"Arena, no armor only weapons, so you can really see what I've been through the last 7 years while you've been lounging around the edge, in five minutes." I angrily exited the Great Hall and heading towards the arena.
Astrid's Pov
Hiccup just challenged Snotlout. Snotlout took all of this armor off to reveal a flabby, fatty stomach. Everyone grimaced at the site. I even threw up in my mouth a little. We all went down to the arena to see Hiccup SHIRTLESS. Oh my thor he has a major 6 pack, muscles, and a tattoo on his back, but he also has scars all over his body. Everyone gasps at the site. This is not the Hiccup who left us.
"So ready to lose," Snotlout says too confidently.
"FIGHT" Stoick booms.
Snotlout has his mace in hands while Hiccup as double twin swords.
Before anyone knew it Snotlout was pinned to the ground with Hiccups swords at his neck.
"You lose" I hear Hiccup mutter and walk away as he puts his swords away.
"I'm not done!" Snotlout yells running after Hiccup
Hiccup blocks his attack with a FLAMING SWORD!!!! He knocks Snotlout out and walked into the forest. I follow him on I need to talk to him.
Hiccups Pov
I know Astrid followed me I can hear her. I make it to the cove and finally man up and say something.
"Astrid? I know your there I heard you following me" she comes out and drops down. I'm ready for her to yell at me about coming back home, so I stopped her before she could start.
"If your gonna yell at me please just don't I know you probably mad that I came back and you want me gone but I missed you and everyone else," she started crying and hugged me and I was surprised.
"I never wanted you to leave Hiccup I heard you talking to Toothless a week before you left, and I thought you were rejecting me and telling him that you don't love me," she said sniffling.
"Actually what I told Toothless was the exact opposite, I was telling him that I love you but I didn't know how to tell you," she was now clinging onto my chest. I could feel her tears making my shirt wet, but I didn't care.
"I love you Astrid and I always will," I whisper into her ear.
Astrid's Pov
"I love you Astrid and I always will," he whispers into my ear.
"I love you too Hiccup, please don't leave again,"
"I won't, I promise," and with that he leaned down and kissed me on the lips and we received our happily ever after.
