Astrid's Pov
My relationship with Hiccup is amazing. I couldn't be happier and I thought he felt the same. One day I was walking over to his hut and I saw him writing a letter and whispering I love you. What Hiccup cheated on me??!!! And then I heard Heather's voice.
"Are you okay Hiccup?" she said,
"Yeah I'm fine I just don't want Astrid to find out," oh my Thor he actually cheated on me. I ran away crying. Tonight we were going to celebrate the defeat of the dragon hunters and I was so excited, but now I don't know.
Hiccup's Pov
I decided to right a letter to my deceased mom and asked Heather if I could talk to her about Astrid and if she could help me because Astrid isn't into the whole feelings thing.
"I love you" I whisper up to my mom. I'm about to cry when Heather tries to comfort me.
"Are you okay Hiccup?" she said
"Yeah I'm fine, I just don't want Astrid to find out. I just don't know if she'll get the wrong idea or what. And she might think I'm a wimp because she's not into feelings."
"You just need to be truthful with her. She loves you and trusts you."
"And I the same. Anyway you should go back to your hut and change for the celebration of the defeat of the dragon hunters."
"See you there Hiccup,"
Astrid's Pov
I decided to just ignore Hiccup for the night and drink my troubles away and hope tomorrow I'll wake up and this will all be a horrible nightmare.
During the Celebration (includes Heather, Dagur, Defender's of the Wing, Stoick, Gobber, A-Team, and the gang)
Hiccup's Pov
The celebration started a couple hours ago and I can tell Astrid is avoiding me. I can also tell she's pretty drunk. That's not like Astrid to do that. I'm about to head over to where she is when I think she sees me and goes over to Snotlout and starts aggressively kissing him. My heart stops and shatters into millions of little pieces. Never able to get back together. I start crying as my girlfriend I guess, is making out with my cousin and the person she told me she despises the most. I run out of the hall and hop onto Toothless to let my sorrow out.
Astrid's Pov
I kept drinking and drinking until I was drunk. I saw Hiccup starting to come over so I walk over to Snotlout and sit on his lap. I then start making out with him. I hear Hiccup run out of the Clubhouse and pull away from Snotlout, spitting out and rinsing my mouth out. Everyone is dead silent when Ruff comes up to me.
"What the heck Astrid?" she yells at me. "Why did you just do that? You know Hiccup loves you with all his heart."
"Ya we don't want you hurting our Boss man," Tuff says.
"I-I saw him writing a letter and then whisper I love you and then told Heather he didn't want me finding out."
"So you assumed he cheated on you!!!???" Gobber says as he hobbles over. "You know the lad, he would never hurt you."
"The letter was for his mom, and he didn't want you to know was because he thought you would think he's pathetic. He was also asking me about what you like so he can do something nice for you." Heather tells me. Oh no, I just hurt the one man I truly loved.
I run back in.
"We have to find him before he does something stupid."
