Chapter 26

I woke up and looked at my phone. It read 4 am. I noticed I was still outside, I gathered my blankets and walked downstairs to my room. 

I checked my phone before falling back asleep. I noticed Shawn uploaded his video for "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back". I was excited so I watched it before going back to bed.

I was humming along to the music since it was long. After I saw the video I texted Shawn.

To: Canadian Sweetheart

" OMG! Totally love the video. So proud of you, Shawn. You deserve it."

I sat there watching the video again when I got a text.

From: Canadian Sweetheart

" Thank you, Love. So glad you could be apart of it with Ellie."

To: Canadian Sweetheart
"Come to Miami when you guy have a break. Please I only have Richard, Yocelyn(baby momma) and his daughter."

  From: Canadian Sweetheart

 "I will let you know. I gotta go, I have to be on the plane to Portland. See you soon."

To: Canadian Sweetheart 

"Goodnight. See you soon."

I went back to sleep.

-Six hours later-

10am

I heard someone open my door but I was too tired to open my eyes. I felt a tiny little hand on my face. I knew it was Aaliyah which means either Richard or Yocelyn is here.

I opened my eyes and saw the cutest baby ever and her mother just waiting for me to wake up.

"Good morning weirdos." I told them

"Hey thats mean but good morning." Yocelyn said

"I am not the one who watches another person sleep." I told her while laughing.

"Come on, get up. I want to take you shopping. " She said

"What? Why? I hate shopping." I told her 

"Well too bad, everyone knows you are in Yashua's house." She said

"What do you mean, everyone?!?!" I asked her

"Well since you been living here, people caught on." She said

"But I didn't tell anyone I live here though." I told her

"I know you didn't. It was Amanda who told the college you go to." She said

"But I didn't even know she existed until last night." I told her

"I know but I need you to watch your back. She will do anything in her power to get with Yashua." She said

"She can have him. I am going to go take a shower so we can go." I told her while handing Aaliyah back to her.

I headed to the shower, I did what I has to do and walked back out to my room. I put something comfortable on because knowing Yocelyn, we will be shopping for a while. I put my hair up in a bun and did little make up.

I grabbed my phone and purse. I was double checking, I wasn't missing anything. I went out to the living room and there he was, Yashua, the one person I wanted to avoid.

"Lisa, I didn't mean for it to get out that you were living with me." He told me

I walked up to Yocelyn and took Aaliyah from her.

"No one told you to tell your girlfriend I live here. Yocelyn I will meet you by the car." I said and walked out with Aaliyah 

I went downstairs and waited by Yocelyn's car until she came down. She walked up to me and handed me a set of keys.
