Chapter 28

"Yashua I said I loved you as a best friend." I told him

"Yea but when I saw how you were when Amanda around me, I thought maybe you still have feelings for me." He said.

I gathered the cookies and went to the kitchen. Yashua followed closely behind. 

"Because she just wants attention. I want the best for you, Yashua." I told him

I was putting the cookies away and Yashua spun me around.... He lifted me onto the counter. He had his hands on both sides  of my waist. 

"Come on don't lie to me, Lisa." He said

"Mira Yashua, I am being serious. I can't focus on a relationship right now. That's why I broke up with Joel." I told him

I got off of the counter and kissed Yashua on the cheek goodnight and went to my room.

I got into my room and was mentally freaking out because I knew living with a guy especially Yashua would wrong problems. My phone started to ring and I checked the caller ID.

---Phone call---

S:Where the hell have you been?

L: Nice to hear from you too Sofia

S: Where are you?

L: Yashua's condo

S: Your boyfriend Yashua?

L: No the alien Yashua... yes my ex boyfriend

S: What the hell are you doing there?

L: I moved in with him after our fight, which by the way I am soo soo sorry. I don't even know why I got upset but you need to stop treating me like a child.

S: I knew you needed time and Erick told me what you did today with Joel.

L: I had to do it, I wasn't happy... I mean I was but not for the right reasons. I decided to not focus on boys at the moment.

S: Want to meet up tomorrow before college?

L: Yea that's fine plus its late so goodnight

S:Goodnight

---Call ends---

I got ready for bed and set my alarm clock. I fell asleep

Next morning

My alarm clock was going off but I didnt want to get up. Yashua came into my room and turned it and laid right on top of me. Few seconds later, I was having difficulty breathing.... I tried to get Yashua off but he is heavier than he seems.

After 2 minutes of trying, I bit his shoulder. I have never seen anyone jump so fast. I was dying of laughter.

"what the hell nena?" He asked

"Dont cut off my circulation next time." I told him while laughing

"I am going to get you for that." He said

"Do that later I have to go to school." I told him 

I gathered my clothes and went to shower and get ready for the day. After 20 mins, I was done with everything. Yashua was in the kitchen looking through our snacks.

"Eat something other than junk food Yahshua." I said 

"But last night this was all we bought." he said

"I will stop after school to stock the fridge but I have to go." I said and kissed his cheek.

"Wait wait wait....you have your keys right." he asked

I showed him my keys and he walked me to the car.

"I will see you later nene." I said and with that I drove off

I got into the school parking lot and saw Sofia looking for me. I got out the car and screamed out her name.

"SOFIA!!!!!" I yelled

She turned towards me and noticed the car I was driving. Her jaw dropped and walked towards me.

"Yo where did you get this ride?" She asked

"Yashua." I said

"Tell him to hook me up." she said

I was about to say some smart ass comment but she beat me to it

"I am joking that's why I have Erick." she said winking

"Good thing I know you enough to know you are joking." I told her. We were leaning against the car.

"Hola chicas. Diablo, eso es un buen caro." Sofia and I turned away from our conversation.

The boys were there and some chick that was holding Joel's hand.

I decided to ignore it.

"Hola chicos, como estan?" Sofia asked.

"Estoy bien ahora que estoy contigo." Erick said and  wrapped his arms around Sofia's waist.

I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"Y el resto de ustedes?" I asked

 "Bien" They answered

"Quien es ella?" I asked nodding my head towards the new girl

"Oh ella es mi novia, Madison." Joel said

"Damn you move fast, don't you?" I asked "I am going to class. ¿Nos vemos en la clase, Christopher?" 

"Claro qur si, mi amor. Mejor aún, iré contigo ahora." Christopher said

Christopher walked up next to me and wrapped his arm around my neck. Sofia, Erick Christopher and I walked away towards class. Sofia and Erick went their own way while Chris and I walked to class and went to our seats.

"Sé que saliste con Joel." Christopher said.

"Bueno, sólo salimos por una semana, así que estoy bien." I told him

"Su expresión dice lo contrario." he said

"Christopher, I am fine. As along as he is happy I am fine." I told him

The professor came in and started class. 

--Skipping Classes--

I was walking towards my car. When I heard someone yell my name, I turned around and it was Joel.

"Hey you looked bothered earlier. Whats wrong?" he asked

"Shouldn't you be worried about your girlfriend?" I asked him

"If that this is about?" he asked

"Look, I broke things off with you so I am not bothered." I told him and got in the car.

Joel came up to my window and stayed there until I rolled down the window.

"Lisa we should talk about this." he said

"No we shouldn't. A long as you are happy I am fine." I told him

I backed out of the parking lot and left Joel standing there with Madison behind him.
