Chapter 25

Irene's P.O.V

I've been dreaming about Jimin a lot nowadays. I don't know why. I sighed. I miss him of course. His text never ends. He still text me no matter what the situation is. It's soon to 2 pm and it means i have to get ready to leave Mrs Kang's boutique.

I did some last minute cleaning and head to her room. I knock her door, waiting for her to reply. "Come in." - she said. I slowly twist the door knob, pushing the door open.

"Mrs Kang, I'll take my leave now." - i said. She look up.

"Alright. Take care." - she said, giving me a smile. I nodded. I gave a small bow, pulling the door, closing it. I grab my small sling bag, walking to Rion's school. He'll end in 30 minutes. So while i have time, i decided to go to Grey's Barista. To buy his favorite cake.

I joined the queue. Slowly, it's my turn. I flash a smile. "Hi Min!" - i greeted her.

"Oh hey!" - she said, smiling wide.

"So, what can i help you?" - she asked.

"Give me a chocolate cake and Ice Americano, oh take away." - i said, smiling. She nodded, pressing the screen in front of her, keying in my orders. She gave me the bill as i pay for them. I sit on a nearest chair, waiting for my order.

Someone tapped my shoulder, making me jumped a little. I turn my head, eyes meeting a young lady. I stand up, greeting her. "Sorry. But i think you drop these." - she said, handing me something. I grab it and it was my wallet.

"Oh thank you -" - i paused, waiting for her to tell mr her name.

"Taeji, Lee Taeji." - she said, smiling, handing out her name. I grab it, gladly shaking it.

"Irene. Shim Irene." - i said, smiling.

"Thank you once again, Taeji ssi." - i said. She nodded, giving me a smile. She look familiar. Who? Who? Who? Hmm... I heard Min calling my order. I gave a bow to Taeji and walk to the other side of the counter, taking my order. I bid goodbye to Min and walk out of the barista. I started walking to Rion's school. Once I've reached, i waited outside. Another 2 more minutes and he'll be dismissed. I sit down, waiting patiently.

Soon, the doors open, the bell rings. Slowly kids walk out of the school. I look around finding Rion. Then i saw him cutely walking towards me. I smiled seeing him. I gave him a hug and he hug me back. I hold onto his hand and we start walking.

"How's school, Rion?" - i asked.

He pouted. "Not fun."

"Why not?" - i asked.

"We had an activity where our appa will be our partner. But i don't have any." - he said pouting.

I sighed. "What did you do then?" - i asked.

"I sit away from my friends. Eomma, seeing my friends playing with their appa seems fun. When will my appa play with me?" - he asked. I bend down, meeting his height.

"Appa will play with you. But he's busy. You have to understand." - i said. His eyes are teary. It breaks my heart. It breaks more that i have to lie to him. I sighed.

"When eomma? You said that the other day too! But appa didn't come back home!" - he exclaimed, tears running down, face turning red. He push me lightly, running away.

"Park Rion!" - i exclaimed. My heart broke more. Slowly falling and break into more tiny pieces. I run, following him. But he ran fast. And i slowly lose him. Shit! No! I use all my energy, running, finding my baby.

I hope he doesn't go far. Please! I walk in a toy store, asking the staff. "Excuse me. Did any small boy come in here, crying?" - i asked. She shook her head.

"No, miss." - she said. I nodded, thanking her and continued running. Where would he be? I grab my phone, calling SuJin.

"Hel-"

"I lost Rion!" - i exclaimed.

"What?!" - she exclaimed.

"Yes! And i don't know where is he!" - i exclaimed, panting.

"How can he be lost?! What happen?!" - she yelled.

"Ya! Could you just help me find him?! I'll explain once we've found him!" - i yelled back.

"Where are you?" - she asked. I told her where i was and she's on her way here. I called Jae too and she's also on her way here. I walk around, trying to find my baby. Slowly, my eyes went teary. I can't lose him. No. I can't bear to lose him.

I prayed hard, walking around. Finally, i met SuJin and Jae. "Have you search this way?" - Jae asked, panting. I nod my head, wiping my tears.

"Let's just split okay. Within 30 minutes, we'll come back here. Okay?" - SuJin suggested. I nodded. Jae went straight. SuJin went to the right. While i went to the left. I need to find him. Need, must! I wipe my tears, gaining confidence and ask every shop if they've seen any small boy crying. All of them said no.

It's tiring. I feel my legs getting weak. I'm getting breatheless. I stop for a moment, catching my breathe. Where are you, Park Rion? I stand up, straight, making a turn to my left and continue walking.

My eyes, looking everywhere. Suddenly i saw a kid. From his back. It's the same uniform as Rion's. It can be him! I don't see anyone except for him. I don't care if i hit on somebody. I quickly walk to him and make him turn, to face me.

"Eomma!" - he exclaimed, crying more. I pulled him into a tight hug. Very tight hug. I cried.

"Please don't run away from me like that." - i said. Rion continued crying, burying his face on my chest. I caress his back. Thank god, he's fine. And safe.

I broke the hug, wiping his tears. "I'm sorry, eomma." - he said, eyes still flowing down. I shook my head.

"It's okay. I understand." - i said, giving him a small smile. He wipe his tears and cup my face, with his small hands. He wipe my tears too as i smiled.

"Eomma, this hyung. He found me. And he took care of me while i was finding you." - he said, giving me a smile, pointing to someone. That person slowly walk towards us. My eyes were blurred with my tears. So i wipe them off.

I stand up straight, holding onto Rion's hands. And slowly, he's standing right in front of me.

"Jagiya."
