Redamancy

Chapter 1

"All done!" she nodded and smiled at her roommate after they finished setting everything in place. Tiffany was a new student at Sunway University, as an international student. She had just moved to Malaysia from India and was pretty excited about studying here.

The two roommates spent all evening tidying up their room. Lucky for them both liked everything clean and in its place. As soon as they flopped down on the bean bags, Yuki got a call and groaned as she had just gotten comfortable. Tiffany had her eyes closed and let out a little giggle.

"Oh, it's Nate!" Nate was Yuki's best friend. They were in the same school, same high school, same everything. And now same college too. "Nate whatsup?"

After she was done talking the two headed out for a bite.

The rest of the evening was spent eating and talking about everything possible, right from college and classes to the best places to get dumplings. They jelled well and were happy to be each other's company.

"Well, we better crash. Orientation is at 10 a.m."

"How fun." Replied Yuki sarcastically.

"Truly" said Tiffany, getting cozy inside her many layers of blankets. "Goodnight"

"Night." And with that, they fell asleep only to be woken up the next morning by someone screaming her guts out.

Apparently these two girls got into a fight over one of them stealing makeup or something.

《 Tiffany's POV》

Once we were done getting ready, which took a while might I add, 'First impression is the last impression, and I sure wanna make a lasting one.' Yuki's wise words; we headed toward the dining room for breakfast, admiring the pretty sights of our college.

It was surrounded by beautiful flowers of all different types and colours. On the pathways there are occassional benches. There was a separate building for classes and another side for extra curricular activities. There was a basketball court, football field, dance room, athletic tracks, you name it. There were plenty of shops all around too. Some of which included book shops, a juice centre and a small café which I really wanted to check out. There was also a massive library which I'm eager to check out. This university was nothing less than perfect.

Wait did I mention the best part? It has a freaking amusement park called Sunway Lagoon! Ever since I set my sight on this college, I've wanted to go there. What's more is it's free for students of the college! This couldn't get any better.

It's a good thing we have orientation because there's probably a lot more we don't know about. Oh did I mention there's free wifi all around?

We arrived at the dining hall and instantly spotted Nate stacking up his plate with everything possible at the buffet counter. Yuki runs over to him while I follow suit.

"Nate, Tiffany. Tiffany, Nate." She introduced us.

"I've heard alot about you" I say to Nate while shaking hands with him.

"Oh but did you hear about the time Yuki fel-" he was cut short by Yuki stuffing his mouth with a piece of fruit and gave him a mean stare.

"Catch a table for us, we'll be right over" she said and we hurried over to get some delicious breakfast.

I picked mostly stuff that had nutella with it while Yuki chose granola and fruits.

We chatted over breakfast about Yuki's clothes and about how majestic this college looked, and soon it was time to go for the most awaited orientation.

While on the way I realized I forgot to carry my book so I told the two of them to save me a seat while I go pick it up.

I reached the dorm and saw some girl weirdly creeping. A closer look at it turned out to be a guy. "Um.. do you need something?" He froze in his tracks. I wanted to let out a laugh but stuck it in.

"Er- no nothing! Forget you ever saw me here. Bye have a nice day" and with that he took off at the speed of light.

I hurried back to hall and found Yuki waving out in the sea of faces. The orientation went by quick. We were explained about our rules and the things we could do etc. The principal also mentioned that we could register for our clubs soon after which got me really excited. And with that we were done with orientation.
